Good performance.
Think the result would have been different if there was a referee who wanted to give decisions to both sides.

that game was so frustrating !!!!!!!!! Got to agree, very frustrating. We can not blame a ref for our own mistakes and poor defending. The Solihull defending was the best I have witnessed this season. Well organised, something I hope carl will have taken note and ideas from. We had enough chances to have taken a point or even to have won it which we didn't deserve to do Still, I am much happier with our style of play and work ethic this season and expect us to come unstuck occasionally. I think we are expecting too much if we think we are going to win 5 or 6 on the trot yet. We have come a long way from last season and still have a way to go but going in the right direction

I agree with JIIG, Carl must be satisfied with the way the team have worked for each other, and have found a style of play which is obviously suiting them. Now the hard work begins though, as we now have to build on this solid start, and not let it slip away. On the reffing side, have we got different refs this season? Are Northern refs a different lot to the southern refs? If so, it does put us at a bit of a disadvantage, as we don't know them and other teams do. They'll know if its a ref who will allow a bit more contact or not, or who likes the game to flow, or uses the whistle to control the game.

The ref on Saturday knew most of the players involved He kept saying 'oi Hands down Danksy' at corners etc and similar comments to other players too. He even congratulated their 'keeper for that amazing last minute save he put over the bar.

Mind, the way we pushed at the end if we had got one we might have got 2, but we didn't deserve 3 points. Maybe a point each but did we really deserve that? I think maybe we did.

Have to agree it was a stunning save, I stood behind the goal and was about to celebrate a goal.
