I went to Stafford today a hard fought point won, well done boys but my gripe is this. Both my girls went in for free (2 yes 2 kids for one adult) and both had a stand transfer to the seats for free. The steward collecting the money even looked at me as if I was daft in asking about paying for them. We could also go in the same turnstile, rather than different ones as at the lane. The woman operating the turnstile just made a note on a pad with a pen!!!!
City please take note It was cheaper to take both my girls to Stafford (including petrol) than it was to walk down to the lane and pay for them both.

I've just found it - 557! So its hardly pulling kids through the turnstiles, and even if there are only 100 juniors at a game, then thats £300 a game City would be losing - or £6,300 over a league season. The club can't afford to lose £6,300 over the course of a season at the moment.

I have to agree with jcp. I kind of agree with both jcp + pendulum. I don't expect to bring children into the ground for free. I have 4 and altho 12 quid is a fair chunk for a saturday I know they enjoy watching and it benefits the club It would be nice if the club could make a bit of a profile match of all children going free but really the three quid charge is against the visiting support as we made the offer before the season of ten pound for a child season ticket for the season. If you knew your child would attend more than 4 games it paid for itself . People are now complaining because City have put together a winning side and suddenly Everyone wants to watch. Shame no one thought they wanted to watch before the season and had enough faith to buy season ticket City have every right to charge for a side that is playing entertaining winning football.

The one guy in the stand would have every City outfield player sent off if the referee had listened to him.
Every tackle made by a City player, according to him was a red card offence.
He wasn't biased by any chance was he?

kids no longer go in for free with a full paying adult at city anymore which is my gripe. We won't be going tomorrow, so thats £11 city have lost rather than gained £6, you do the maths. I understand for kids on their own paying to enter, no problem with that at all, but when you are taking kids (girls) both under 6 to the match and it costs you £6 for the privilege and you have the problem of sending them through a different turnstile and telling them to wait by the table on the other side then I won't bother. Sorry to sound so pedantic. If the £10 season ticket offer was advertised more then I would have bought two whatever but reading on here was the first I knew. How many kids in worcester even know about the tenner season ticket, very few I guess.
By the way having watched every home game last season I am not complaining about the winning side!!
I would like to know how many adults with kids city are missing out on because I don't see many kids at the lane, which sort of backs up my point about the lack of advertising of the £10 season ticket.

We had a good number of parents with children at the game today, and a fair few came into the Club Shop to buy their child a replica shirt - they are now reduced to £5 for children's sizes. Many thanks to all who came into the Shop today.
I know that many attractions admit children under 5 for free, I don't think our pricing policy makes this concession, it may be something to consider for the future.

It was a bank holiday, in a school holiday, and a 3.00 kick off. That will make a difference.

I bought the 'early bird' season tickets for my children and see that as good value (this was clearly advertised on the city website).
I don't see £3 for children over 5 as being a problem, it's certainly not excessive and I would have been happy to pay this as it is money that is keeping my 'local' football club afloat. It's certainly cheaper than taking them to a 'local' premiership game.
The shirts were a bargain at £5, just wish I could squeeze into a XS.
