Does anyone know what the admission prices will be today for our friendly 'away' at Evesham Utd? Sorry can't help as its Eveshams game. According to our website Worcester City's final pre-season friendly is at Saint George's Lane on Saturday, kick-off 3 p.m., when they are away to Evesham United. Admission is £5 for adults and £3 for concessions and juniors.

1-1. Clyde badly exposed for second time in as many minutes and Evesham's 9 scores after an initial shot is blocked.

City up 2-1. Great volley by new signing Neil Cartwright after a good Gary Walker cross.

Except we've been here numerous times before and then it's sadly not worked out. Hoping this time is different....

If we can't be positive before the first game of the season then when will we ever be? (We are joint top after all ) We are playing a good side with a very large budget (Large, compared to ours) but I hope we get a decent crowd who are there to support the team that Carl is putting together I for one can not wait for Saturday! C'mon City!, C'mon City!

Not been able to go to any freindlies and will miss first league match as I am on hol in Turkey but I like what I have heard and read about new signings. I do feel optimistic about the coming season (on the pitch) and feel we can avoid a delegation scrap at the very least.

There might have been a crowd of 800+ if it had been the second game on the Monday night following an away win in the opener. As it is I would guess a crowd of 650 - 700. Win the first three games and there'll be 1000+ for the visit of Hinckley on 23rd!
