It's summer and therefore its time for football. The Icelandic Premier League kicked off on Monday and Tuesday with goals aplenty. Fram won fairly easily, without having to get out of 3rd gear, 2-0 against IBV at the Icelandic National Stadium. IBV pressed in the last 15 minutes but without success mainly due to a strong defence and Fram keeper Hannes, who is highly rated amongst certain City fans. For action from all the games follow link below, Fram's game is after 31 mins 40 secs. dagskra.ruv.is/sjonvarpid/4527605/2010/05/11/

Round two and Fram are still unbeaten after a 2-2 draw against Breðablik, after being 2-0 down. Link to IPL match of the day below. Fram match after 31 mins 40 secs (again), the equaliser being worth the enterance money alone. dagskra.ruv.is/sjonvarpid/4527606/2010/05/17/Fram are at home to Grindavik on Thursday.

Round 4 and Fram stay 2nd after another 2-2 away draw. This time it was against fourth placed Fylkir, who finished one place above the mighty blues last season in third. 2-0 down with four minutes to go another fantastic comeback saw supersub Hjálmar Þórarinsson score twice, one straight from a corner, to grab a point. Newly promoted Selfoss can overtake Fram if they beat Stjarnan tomorrow but that's as bad as it can get.

Round 5 of the IPL took place on Monday but Fram didn't play because both them and opponents KR had a player in the national team that beat Andorra 4-0 on Saturday. The mighty blues stay in second however as none of the other teams managed to overhaul them. Action from the other games are below. dagskra.ruv.is/sjonvarpid/4527608/2010/05/31/Table www.mbl.is/mm/sport/efstadeild/Wednesday night saw Fram play in the last 32 in the Icelandic FA Cup, beating First Division leaders IR 2-1 at the National Stadium. The goals are in the news bulletin below on 6 min 40 secs. dagskra.ruv.is/sjonvarpid/4525490/2010/06/02/

Strangely enough there are at least a dozen people who are interested (that's those that have told me personally) and follow the links and there may be more. There is no real need to respond is there, just watch the footage.

Well actually no, the information has usually been offered without any comment from me. Just because you aren't interested doesn't mean that others aren't, however powerful and influential you may be.
Incidently Fram went back into second place this evening after a hard fought 2-1 away win at 6th placed Selfoss. That's three wins and two draws from their first five games.

Last night saw the remaining games in round 6 of the IPL. Fram slipped back to third but have played a game less than all those around them. If they win their game in hand, against KR on Thursday, they will go top, due to leaders Keflavik getting thrashed 4-0 at Stjarnan last night. Fram are now the only unbeaten team in the league. The league is tight however as there is only two points separating the top 5. League table www.mbl.is/mm/sport/efstadeild/Icelandic telly's match of the day (there are some cracking goals this week) dagskra.ruv.is/sjonvarpid/4527609/2010/06/07/Fram's game is on 33 mins 50 secs but for some unexplained reason they missed recording most of the game and only caught the winner.

You wouldn't be accepted anyway as you are too MOR, although being Welsh would give you a few bonus points. Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson leader of Ásatrúarfélagið is a former member of Icelandic paganpunkgoths Þeyr and also KUKL, who's number included one Björk Guðmundsdóttir, so he'll hold short shrift with some Mavericks loving leek muncher. British ultra dark goths Killing Joke relocated to Iceland, in the eighties, to get the Pagan vibe but were sent packing for being too wuss, so what chance would you have?

Ok, I'll join the Jehovahs Witnesses instead! And I'm hardcore boyo, I'm a daffodil muncher!!
