I am honoured to let you all know that, despite him not even telling me, his best mate, that he was seeing someone until last month (his excuse being that he didn't want everyone taking the piss when it all went tits up – and it would have done because her tits are bigger than his - sorry mate ), the one and only Leeds WCFC has informed me that he proposed to the lovely Paula last week and she has accepted his proposal. If I was emotional, I'd be happy for him. Indeed it has fallen on me to send you this message as his lordship has bestowed upon me the honour of being his "Best Man" which I feel quite honoured by considering I hardly knew him 5 years ago so I need as many funny stories as possible (any suggestions from our away games/in general?) - I also suggest a few celebratory beers at Staines… Anyway, Congrats. to Kieran :-)

Darrell. He's only chosen you because he knows there is a fair chance that you'll not run away with her!

If this thread hadn't been started yesterday, I'd have said it was an April Fool!
No, seriously, I'm delighted, and look forward to a celebratory drink soon.

If only you could have come up with a surname for Paula using the letters left over R I F O O L . Rifolo?? O'Frilo? The bit that gave it away was the "If I was emotional I'd be happy for him" But you are Dazza!! Nice one tho Dazza, far better than the limp effort by the Worcester News, the old "Hollywood style letters", this time on the Malvern Hills!! That one has been done to death.

As Many Funny Stories as possible? We can still do that.
There are literally thousands, all of which involve his time as a referee. It was a bad day indeed for the Worcestershire FA when he packed up.
How about the time when a player crawled off the pitch with his leg hanging off and then returning a few minutes later after treatment to receive a second yellow card for leaving the pitch without the ref's permission.
A saying that is still heard to this day around any Sunday morning football ground, "Kieran Mooney would have had him off."
Have you still got that red coat?

Yep, agreed, top quality, it was the only April Fool that got me, and yep Paula Mooney is very funny. Good subtle slapstick humour, and you don't need an anagram of April Fool to make it funny. I was almost buying into the unicorn one on the One Show yesterday until they showed the pony with the perfect unicorn horn, if it had just had a little bump there it would have been pretty realistic. Dazza, you should offer your services to the Worcester News
