I went once to a midweek away at dover(late 70's). Roger Shaw scored and then the floodlights failed. I think i was the only City fan in the ground

But I hope the lights don't fail as i don't fancy making the trip again (unless they make it a Saturday). Oh For Roger Shaw in the team now tho'!

WHat a desperate line-up! We have signed Jamie Price back from Stourport to play at left-back and (no kidding) Mark Owen lines up up front with Mark McGregor!
We'll have done well if we keep it down to four.

19 mins: 0-0, Dover have had (and wasted) their first corner. Danzelle has made a good save. Free kick to City headed just wide by McGregor, who's just a long chat to the ref alleging he'd been elbowed by Jake Leberl. If he says anything else he's likely to get a yellow.

30 mins: still 0-0, with two good saves from Danzelle. Craig Wilding booked for something he said to the ref after a blow on the head.

Mark Owen and Jamie Price in the starting eleven? Only four on the bench with Carl Heeley being one of them?
Things are becoming more and more desperate, and I hope Shabir now realises the consequences of his stupid actions in the Newport game.

45 mins: still 0-0 and Dover have had six corners to City's one. I should think Carl will be reasonably happy with that, but plenty of defending to do in the second half.

MO up front makes the Addagio loan look even stranger.

I wonder why they couldn't recall Marco from Redditch? Other clubs recall loan players at will.

Does it not have to be 24 hours before a game? But as it seems dinsmore is on the bench so ch is just looking for a goalscores but is owens play is same as mcgregoars?

I presume we have the option to.
Not sure exactly whats happened with Durrant and Beahon, here's Carleys view:
"Jack Durrant and Tom Beahon cry off at the last minute."
Is that a typo? what does he mean?!?!?!

Presumably couldn't fit the trip in with work commitments? Or just didn't fancy four hours on a coach each way?
According to Steve Miller Durrant got injured during training with Cheltenham.

65 mins: Now 1-0 to City
McGregor just had a chance from a Jamie Price free-kick.. Late tackle on Dinsmore by Ollie Schulz sees the latter booked. Free kick comes to nothing.
McGregor scores from a head-on by Daniel!!!!!!!!!!!
