A Beer festival may well be on the cards on the weekend of the Lewes game, and Im sure we can make a tidy packet on the 2/3 day event.

It does seem weird that the ground/security staff know what's going on, but the directors don't.......... No offence meant to either verner or birdfeeder.

Given the trouble with drunken supporters this season at SGL (I am thinking about the Telford and Woking matches in particular) I imagine the Police would do all they could to veto any such plans.
The club can ill afford to have to pay for the extra policing that would be required in order to take a few more quid in the bar.

That's the most stupid thing I've ever read (including anything from jcp, myself and Henderson) Drunk people might cause a problem, so we won't sell them real ale, but we can still sell them fosters and stowford press. I'd suggest that if there wasn't a football match on that day then the Woking fan wouldn't have been wound up at seeing his team lose a two goal lead.

The Kiddy fans caused trouble in town the day the game was called off. Nothing to do with Worcester City FC bit I am sure we can be blamed for that too

I wasn't placing any more blae on WCFC than anyone else was on beer. Anyone who causes trouble after a pint too many, is an idiot before they've had a drink as well.

Of course there won't be any trouble, but the police are more than likely to use what little trouble there has been to veto this idea.

This festival would have been a good idea after a result like yesterday

Unfortunately the beer festival was postponed until preseason or the opening day of next season as the amount of beers and particular beers wanted couldn't be brought in on time, also the supporters trust want some special edition glasses done up for when it does go ahead
