In my opinion Woeful Didn't string more than 3 passes together We had only 1memorable shot on target (at both ends!!) and we hit the woodwork both times Farrell just wasn't interested full stop Alfie was marked out of the game , 2 on 1 throughout
Positives? Not many but.... Josh worked his socks off for little or no reward Shame Marco didn't come on earlier, looked lively but a bit rusty and made their defence look uncomfortable a couple of times for the 1st time in the game My opinions .. any one agree?

As steve Good pointed out after the game was over. H&V really did their homework on City and did not give them any space to play in. Mind the two goals were scrappy affairs which the goalkeeper should have saved.

My opinion is that it was the 3rd tough game in quick time for a small squad. Most of our guys looked very tired. And H&W worked their game solidly, if unspectacularly, and won it with a little attrition. Marco did explode onto the pitch, so they clattered him, and that was the end of that.
In short, H&W are a muscle & mettle team and we were too knackered to respond in kind.
In line with my now regrettably habitual moan about refs (I should add that he wasn't the worst we've seen recently), but he didn't protect players or even have a word with those he repeatedly gave fouls against. It meant that H&W couldn't have chosen a better referee for the style they came to play.

One word for our performance.... DIRE. This was the worst they have played all season ! It was obvious after the first ten minutes or so that Marco should be on the field, as I said to several people, it was his sort of game their defence would not have coped with his style of play & he would have created the chances for us to score.

My first trip to the Lane this season and can only say we were rubbish!Surely we can find a more competent keeper but that would just be a start. This is a team doomed to relegation so like Pompey they might just as well take the administration hit now.But would the owners (Careys and the banks)allow it?Somehow,I don`t think so!

Stray thought-sport in Worcester is at an all-time low with the County already relegated and City and Warriors set to follow them! WRFC are living proof that you need more than a sugar daddy to guarantee success on the field-but I guess it should make it easier!

Time to Kill is right, with such a small squad, and not the greatest of sets of players ever to wear the shirt, then a number of games in succession like we're getting now is always going to be very tough. And its going to be like this now until the end of the season. All we can really hope for is that none of the other clubs at the bottom, especially Lewes, but even the other two, don't find some cash to bring in players to strengthen their squads.
