Any cause for optimism in this game, presuming it goes ahead?
Given they're near the top-of the table and our still disappointing (being very polite) home record, reckon the best we can hope for is a point.

Work prevented attendance so listened on Radio Surrey less than 8 miles from Woking!! .Still currenty playing and 3-2 up but the Surrey presenters have nothing but praise for City and say we are destroying them up front What great fighting spirit to come back from 2 down against a top 6 club Back to work now but fingers crossed we can keep the lead - Shame Hampton are beating stortfod 1-0 too but Lewes losing 1-0 See you at the Lane on Monday night.

Shame about the retarded Woking thugs (will not call them fans) and the completely inadequate WCFC stewards after the match.

Shame about the retarded Woking thugs (will not call them fans) and the completely inadequate WCFC stewards after the match. i disagree totally, stewards did their jobs on several occasions today and for the money they are on per game fair play to them for earning it, for the last 3 minutes of the game i viewed what were stuphd scenes, some idiotic woman having a rite old go at the chief steward because the woking fans said a few swear words, she then proceeded to call the chief steward a w*n*er, hello lovely you just did the exact same thing, then ugly scenes outside which were not needed again 3 stewards, steve and reece goode all involved in trying to calm it down while the cheif steward was on the phone to the police and again this idiotic woman having a pop at him while he was talking to them, i take my hat off to them all for 1. Keeping their heads and 2. Calming the situation and anyone who was involved were arrested and taken away!

Great 2nd half performance by the lads and 3 welcome points, disappointing scenes at the end by a few away fans who had to much to drink but most Woking fans i thought were brilliant and a credit to their club, just a shame one or two idiots had to ruin it. Well done City, a repeat performance on Monday night will be most welcome!!

Kept their heads - you are having a laugh - if they had done their jobs in the ground there would have been no scenes outside - they were too scared to do anything with the Woking "fans" because "there were too many of them" (quote steward 008).
I was under the impression that persistant foul and abusive language would result in expulsion from the ground - especially when in front of children.

Mr T i suppose you could have done a better job!.......No didn't think so! Just been told that you have something to do with the gobby woman mouthing off at the stewards today, clap clap no wonder it took you only an hour after the final whistle to put a stupid comment on the forum, how many games have you attended this season now as a STAY AWAY, if your going to act like 6 year olds and call stewards w*n*ers then maybe WCFC could do without your kind down the lane, id quiet happily pay the extra money to cover you both. As i say great win today and well done to the stewarding team and also the police.
Also if expulsion should follow following foul and abusive language i take it that you will not be at many of our next games. No didn't think so

Ironically the worst fans I ever saw at The Lane were in The FAC game v.Wycombe (they grabbed an undeserved equaliser) we drew in 1980? when the Chavski 'neo-nazis' turned up with their pro-Hitler songs.... They certainly made a cogent case for selective extermination.

The stewards handled another situation very well, when Colin the well known singer collapsed at the dressing room end.
Colin refused to have treatment. He was observed from then on by stewards and a director. But he left before half-time.
I am concerned about Colin's condition. Does anyone know if he is OK.

Well, what a difference in the team, 2-0 down and they still kept their heads up. And they came through with a 3-2 well deserved victory.
But didn't the Woking players and management show how peeved they were at the defeat.
A good game to watch.
Well done the Lads.
Keep it up Carl, this is what we the faithfull have been waiting for.

Great result, and well deserved from a real battling performance from the whole team.
Good to see Mark Owen helping out as well. He sat in the directors box and gave King Carl constant updates on formations etc. It can only have helped to keep the concentration and tempo up right 'til the last squeak from the pip in black.
What is happening with the officials this season? Our first goal was disallowed for what? And the way the ref dealt with the head-ons from Rob Elvins - alternately giving a decision each way in turn - was farcical.
Well done to the guys for not letting it get to them. Bring on Braintree!

Oh well that's what I get for choosing to go to Wembley, which was actually a great day out and my kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves (though they still prefer the football).
Only the second game this season I've missed and to be honest I thought this would have been a grim affair but in stead it sounded like a cracking game (even some fireworks at the end!).
Well done to the lads and to Rob Elvins and Alfie.
How did the new boys acquit themselves?
Looking forward to Monday Night.

It must have seemed strange to them playing their first game with strange team-mates. But as said they fitted in very well.

The woking fans running on the pitch after their second seemed to be the initial catalyst. If your reading this Grow up boys just because its non league you shouldn't do it because you think you can get away with it. (league ground with police present, instant ban, £1000 fine, don't think you'd bother then).
I was sat with Woking fans in the second half, cheered our boys abused their players a little and the woking fans around me did the same to us but we also had a nice chat about the game and the season etc. Shame that a few others following woking thought differently. As non league fans we should give each other respect just for turning up!!! Please let this be a one off. Well done to the stewards but a massive come on for the team who really did play fantastic.
not a false dawn please

Excellent result and a better performance from the lads. Once again Alfie led the line well, Rob linked well, and added two fine headers. The new lads gave us the midfield we have so often been lacking over the last few seasons. Durrant in particular looks a quality player despite being only 18. Mention to for Gary Walker who worked tirelessly.

I was going to go and watch rugby this weekend, but I'm going to Saltergate instead Should have come down to Wembley - Bree Louise in Euston before the game (where it was 50p discount per pint with a CAMRA Card - meaning we never paid more than £2.40 a pint, not to mention the 12 beers on gravity and three on pump) and then ended up in the Cittie of Yorke in Holborn after the game - probably one of new favourite pubs - plus it was a Sam Smith's so 'twas £4.70 for two pints (a steal for London Village). I hope to go back soon...

Great win, which didn't really look likely after 30 mins. However it is good to see that King understands that a team needs players playing in position. On Saturday we actually had a midfield made out of midfielders, and didn't it show.
