Anyone going? I was, but after the disappointment of last Saturday week, won't make it. Good Luck to the lads.

Once again I will be taking a break from my usual carpet molesting to watch my boys in action tonight. Nothing less than a win with a full first team XI will quench my thirst for 'Treble' glory.
Am I to assume it is all-ticket tonight?

Only 90 out! At least we don't have to play them again, but depressing to be 2-up. Let's hope though, we can score a few more in the CS. But now the defence seems to be lacking?

But now the defence seems to be lacking? The defence fell apart in the second half following half time changes. Ward and Kemp off with Wilding and Shab on. Shb went to left back with Spencer switching to right back. The right side of city's defence and midfield was then exposed by the Harriers No 11 and No 3 as they stepped up the pace. The real problem is injuries, Elvins limped off, Ward looked to be limping when he returned to the bench during the second half. One bright spot was Alfie Carter's performance up front, always threatening and chasing.

This is the time of the season when it gets really tough on teams with small squads, and even tougher for teams with small squads and no money. Then you add Carls correct comments amount contracts into the equation and you realise just what a hard job he's now got. Teams higher up the league will be strengthening their already decent squads, and teams at the bottom with a bit of money (if they exist) will find one or two players who will make a difference. All Carl can do is work with the players he's got available, and injuries will mean square pegs in round holes. Deep down, the result last night won't mean a great deal to Carl, its a decent training session against higher opposition, a chance to work on things without worrying if it goes wrong. But injuries will be a problem.
