Please excuse any apparent ignorance
If someone wanted to invest in the club how would he/ they go about buying shares? They are not quoted on the LSE so where would you obtain shares and what is the current market price of those shares? I am presuming a letter to the club would suffice?
What is the limit that has been imposed to stop any one share holder buying up the club? How in practice does it work?
Just my inquisitive mind...

Shares are bought by filling in a share application form. There used to be one on the website to download, not sure if its there now. Shares cost £1 each, and I believe the minimum number you can buy is 50. Shares are not tradeable, they do not go up or down in value, they are simply £1 ordinary shares and they dont pay dividends. The maximum share holding is 1% of the total shares available, which is 300,000, so its 3,000 shares you can buy - £3,000.

City shares have one unusual property - you can still have your vote counted after you are dead

There are a few holders of £3,000, not that many though, the complete bulk shareholder listing can be viewed at the club, or you can download them for £1 from CompaniesHouse, or if you give PM me your email address, I can email it to you. Be warned though, dead shareholders always seem to have a habit of voting in favour of the board!!

On the clubs 2009 return, which looks like a primary school exercise books, you know one where the teacher says it looks like a spiders crawled over it, Stokes-Smith stated Worcester City's Principal Business Activity was "Operating sports arenas & stadium! Finger on the pulse as ever Keith?
