If we get through to the 3rd round of teh Trophy, I won't be able to go if it's an away game.
Bound to get an away tie somewhere nice.

Yep you could miss out on a trip to somewhere beautiful like: Altrincham, Vauxhall Motors, Corby, Kidderminster, Newport, Workington, Tamworth or Barrow.

Haven't been to Corby or Alty so wouldn't have minded one of them...

Corby is the most God forsaken place that I have ever been to. It's basically Kettering's industrial estate. Altrincham is marginally better but not much, although it does have the upside of being on the outskirts of Manchester.

My word, the citizens of Cheshire will not be happy with you referring to Alty as being 'marginally better' than Corby! ;D A little unfair - Alty is posh, don't you know! (Not that I live there, a bit too snooty for me). Corby on the other hand is unremmittingly grim.

You do know the history of Corby? Without Stewart & Lloyds it would still be a village.

Daza-Don't grieve if you end up missing a Corby game!!Probably the most awful ground I have ever been to for viewing and general atmosphere. One seated stand absolutely miles from the pitch across a running track.Think of all the worst bits of Grantham,Bradford PA,Newport(before they did the modifications which have improved things a bit in my opinion)and the old Poole Town ground @ Wimborne Road(although you may be too young to recall damn you!!!)& you have Corby!!Alty , on the other hand, is nice,"proper", non league ground with good chippy opposite and several pubs not too far away serving top notch Robinsons etc.Lets hope for Alty & I'll get you a programme!!!!!!!!!!

PS/ Just to say that the last post is in no way meant as anything disrespectful to the good people of all the afore mentioned clubs-purely that their grounds are a long way from the pitch!!
