Accrington Stanley who are they? I thought of Accrington when I first saw the photo, but realised quickly that the fans looked far too young for it to have been 2005! AFC Newport a decade or so earlier?

Was their new race track built then? I think it's the exercise yard of Gloucester gaol.
Is Tony Hyde the big chap at the front with the 'tach? He was a a familiar face at the Lane.

Yes, when I used to travel on the coach to away games in the 70s Tony was a stalwart back then. He was a very genuine guy, softly spoken, worked for Duncan Fearnley. I remember him being desperate for a pee on the way back from a night game at Yeovil in the Championship winning season ( a 1-1 draw, Gary Stevens); we all rushed off on the hard shoulder but there was an untimely gust of wind and another supporter, Blakey, got rather wet. Happy days!

I was thinking Dorchester or Weymouth because of the new looking wall, then you said M5 corridor south of Newport, then I know for a fact that Clevedon played in blue - hence the colour of the perimeter fence thing the flags are tied onto.
It was the last game that season in the Doc Martens Premier - one I was at myself - remembered we had a kickabout on the astroturf pitch behind the one goal during the half time break

Trying to think of the name of the guy zipping up his green coat, he was a mate of Steve Dorrell and Jeff Widdett. If i recall he once had a yellowy green MGB GT.
There are far too many 'taches on that photo, and it wasnt even Movember!!

Looking at the lad in the Newcastle shirt I thought it was Kieran Mooney from the 1940's.
