One of my friends lost a bike, another a playstation.
Me?
They left my laptop, TV, sterio... the only thing of mine which is missing is a PS2 game called 24 based on the Jack Bauer TV series.
Very strange.

Darrell you poor thing. Are you ok? I had my handbag stolen and it is a nightmare, I felt violated, how i would cope with someone in my house I dread to thing.
Very strange, makes it seem like they only took what they wanted, whereas a druggy will take anything to flog.
I shall have to give you an extra big cuddle on Saturday.
When the police caught the scumbag my case was just taken into account with about 30 others. I wanted the little s*** flogged, I loved tha handbag.

Prize Prat, your house has not been "robbed" it was "burgled". Unless of course the thieving toerags actually took away your house, in which case you are quite correct.

Had my house burgled when I was a student in Coventry too.
I only had a bike stolen. I think its par for the course in Coventry though and I lived in a decent area as well.

Apologies. It's all very bizarre. The police had caught them this morning. One had my 24 game in his hand. They came back to the house, presumably with a view to collecting the bigger stuff. (Police chased and caught them.) There was a parcel by the front door which was a Christmas Present I'd sent (and which has been returned by Royal Mail having not been collected due to the recipient being abroad) The parcel and wrapping had been opened. The book and card were left on the floor, but they'd very kindly put the wrapping in the bin as I spent ages wondering where the envelope with the address was!! They'd taken a bike out of the kitchen through the entire house (PAST TWO OTHER BIKES!) The TV remote is missing, but the TV is there. My mates tin of 1p and 2p coins has gone. (Very amusing as it was in a cupboard containing a lot more expensive stuff than a fiver worth of coppers. It's possibly the most comical robbery I've ever heard of. And we're fine Gobby, it's been almost entertaining. Naturally I slept through the whole thing and was the last to wake up Ohhh and they left tumbling monkeys alone In a way, one is ratehr disappointed all the WCFC stuff in the house stayed. THe must have thought it was worthless

I am glad the police have caught the scumbags, I hope your landlord is going to improve the security as no doubt after they have done their sentence of half an hour of community service they will be back for the big stuff.
We need some stiffer penalties over here, I think sharia law has its merits in this case.
