Before the doom and gloom merchants get too carried away....
December 17th 1988 City 5 Fareham 1 Crowd 578
December 19th 1998 City 0 Hastings 0 Crowd 574
December 20th 2008 City 1 Bognor 1 Crowd 588
We're ON THE UP!!!! (Seriously, the Saturday before Christmas never attracts the crowds.)

It's all relative Rushwickdon; on December 22nd in 1951, City had a below par 3586 for the visit of Tonbridge.

Of the teams which played at home on Saturday these are their attendances, their home average for the season prior to Saturday, and the change between them. AFC Wimbledon 2945 2906 +1% Bishop's Stortford 281 344 -18% Chelmsford City 1502 1345 +12% Dorchester Town 461 436 +6% Eastleigh 509 633 -20% Hampton & Richmond Borough 644 498 +29% Havant & Waterlooville 541 611 -11% Maidenhead United 364 403 -10% Team Bath 103 235 -56% Welling United 621 673 -8% Worcester City 588 868 -32% I'm not putting any interpretation on the figures as there are too many other factors involved to make any comparison worthwhile. Dunno why I bothered really.
