What time is the kick off on boxing Day? Mr T thought it was 11.

Newport's website suggests that it will be a 3pm ko.

According to the Blue Square South website ALL matches on Boxing Day kick off @ 3 pm. The same is true of both New Year's Day and Saturday January 3rd.
Incidentally, why on earth didn't the "Boxing Day" fixtures take place on Saturday 27th? This would have given the players two days of festive fun with their families, without the chore of turning out on a Bank Holiday.

Because the 27th isn't Boxing Day? No, you're right, but thats football, and I've come to the conclusion that all football associations are quite simply incapable of doing anything rationally and sensibly. You've got junior leagues expecting kids to play games on the 28th!!!

That is crazy. Do the people who arrange these things have families or a normal life?

Yes, they have families, and they spend the afternoon with their families, whilst people trying to help out with keeping little junior football clubs going are struggling to get 11 players together for a game.

Both the games against Newport - Boxing Day and New Year's Day - are a 3p.m. kick-off.
There was a time - I think it's called the good old days - when clubs played on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. And as recently as 1997, when Boxing Day fell on a Friday, we played Tamworth at home then Merthyr away the next day.

I am really looking forward to it, I just hope the lads thrash the pants off them like last time we went there, which was in fact the first match I saw City win.
