I hate it.
"My government..."
Piss off.
It's not your government, it's ours.

When I saw you had posted under the heading "Queen's Speech" I assumed you had something to say Darrell?

When I saw you had posted under the heading "Queen's Speech" I assumed you had something to say Darrell? Maybe I could perform the state opening of the new boardroom? "My football club will introduce a bill to the Social Club of £40,000" We could even have black Bod slamming the door as SAG approach the boardroom. *knock. Knock. Knock.* "PISS OFF, We'm counting the proxy votes"

We live in a constitutional monarchy, so she's right to say it's her government, besides which it's just a bit of tradition.
When I saw the heading I thought she'd announced a rescue package for WCFC. Now that would have been a good move. After all if they can bail out the banks what's a couple of million for a football club?

I don't understand this credit crunch business. We've been borrowing so much that the system has collapsed, so the solution that's been offered is to make it easier for is to borrow MORE. Yours sincerely, Confused of West London.

It's strange Darrell but 40 years ago i had the same thoughts as you. It's only in retrospect that i came to the belief that our monarchy is far more desirable than an American style presidency!
Dennis Skinner? The lefts answer to Boris Johnson;)

I was anti-monarchy until someone once said two magic words to me - President Thatcher.
