2-1 win after being one down. Excellent away win, well done RD. Just wish we could repeat that at home

Another excellent win . Just makes you wonder where we could be if we could perform at home.
A couple of brave decisions droppping Clarke and Price but ones that have paid off
Well Done to all concerned

Now I wonder if I can wangle a site visit to my job in Tilbury for the same day as City's oddyssey to Thurrock...

Clarke played, Davies was on the bench and came on to score. He made a difference when he came on - Matt Dodd never really got the ball to show what he can do. A scrappy game but we scored - and won! So no complaints. I feared the worse after our last visit here - and what happened at Maidenhead. But we showed commitment today and the work rate was good. Our two good passing moves got the goals Wilding (I think) played the ball out to the left to Matt D to slide home then Davies fired home low and hard through a sea of legs after Adaggio had had a good run up the flank.
Wilding played deep in a kind of Makelele role?!? But he did ok. Problem is we then lack size up front. Still, three points.

Yes, I remember the last visit all too painfully, Ealing! Superb result today. Well done to RD and the team for bouncing back from three defeats.

A figment of Preston and Ealing's imagination?

I meant Ward - but my Wuster accent made it come out like Clarke.

Was he at the game yesterday? Thats a big NO,the only directors there were DB and JP,I think someone will have to give him a map to find SGL,never mind going to Hampton,he will only be a short team chairman ontil Mr Hallmark decides who to put in his place, but if I was a betting man I do not think the puppet master will be with us long.

Is he actually legally Chairman though? He hasn't been voted in by the shareholders of the company, merely co-opted by the directors without the consent of the shareholders....

Belatedly wanted to add this was a very enjoyable day, including in their bar afterwards! And all the lads I spoke to after inc.Craig & Danny were very honest. While the young lad who got the winner, said he knew very little about it! The 7 he replaced though, was fairly hopeless in that game! Ended up sitting(by sheer coincidence) directly in front of DB;Did contemplate abusing him, but then decided, why kick a man when he's on his way 'down'? Anyway, their seats in front of their main stand, doubled as a useful 'alternate' dugout, though a long time since I was ever shouting vaguely useful suggestions to the players, with a pint in hand!
