OK, not strictly true
Seen buying a couple of things there last night
Looked pretty on edge, seemingly desperately hoping not to be recognised.
And would say he dressed down, but.............

Not such a stupid idea - I've often thought that Tesco should close its two stores in Worcester and build one Extra sized store as an enabling development for the new football ground. The current Tesco land can then be used for residential land with a good percentage set aside for affordable housing.

Its been tried and failed already, with the B&Q enabling development. Everyone who tries for enabling development misses one very important feature of the Local Plan, Inspectors report, public inquiry etc. and that is, enabling development will be allowed on the site so long as it is within the confine of a single stadium development. That means effectively retail attached to the ground itself, a bit like at the Madjeski Stadium where the hotel forms part of the complex, as do the retail outlets on the site. Can you imagine pushing a shopping trolley all the way round the perimeter of a football stadium? Knowing our directors they'd probably bring in some form of segregation which means Vegans have to cross with the Carnivores on their way to the Tofu counter
