I'm sure you're aware that all is not well with WCFC. Many fans are now boycotting home games - others think they need to go to show their support, while many of us don't know what the **** to do any more.
You've been through this and worse - what do you suggest to get rid of this board? Boycott or turn up?

Ealing,
I went to your Supporters Trust meeting yesterday, where this, amongst other things was being discussed. My own point of view is that you should go to the game and support your team BUT buy no food/merchandise whilst there. Buy NOTHING from your club shop.
Think how you'd feel if you boycotted, the club went under, and no-one was there to start picking up the pieces.
Seems a small step, but you'd be surprised what it can achieve.
I am trying to get many AFCW fans to The Cavalier for a pre-match beer/chat/show/of unity.

I'm starting to come round to the idea that we should all attend the games to really get behind the team - if administration is inevitable, and soon, then we're going to want these players to stay with the club, last thing we want is players jumping ship when the sh1t hits the fan. Those players I've spoken to are determined to concentrate on playing football and not letting the off-pitch stuff get in the way, and I'm sure they would appreciate good vocal support against Tamworth and Wimbledon. Yeah sure it's giving money to the Boddy regime, but only enough to pay the players' wages. If we boycott the tea bar, shop etc that will do.

Are you sure its going to pay the players wages? Its a nice thought that the club will look after its players before urgent creditors, in reality, it doesn't happen because it doesn't need to happen. The emotions are kicking in again, think with head not heart, players are professionals, they get paid to do a job, whether 200 or 2000 turn up, if the club can't pay their wages they have a safety net in the form of the PFA who can pay their wages. If the club is unable to honour contracts, or refuse to honour contracts, they have good legal support through the PFA to be compensated, in the same way as Andy Preece was. If players find the need to jump ship, they'll do so regardless of the financial situation just like they have done every year for the past 30 years. Gate money is more likely to go towards St. Modwen costs, as they rumble on with their pie-in-the-sky planning permission for a retail complex, jointly funded by WCFC. Boycotting the Teabar won't make a blind bit of difference, whether the teabar makes £1 or £1000 a game , the payment to WCFC is the same (£0 due to contra arrangements). So boycotting the Teabar, you're actually putting their employees in danger of losing their jobs, you're boycotting an independent company which has nothing to do with the football club, not very clever at all!!

If the teabar company goes tits up, then surely the Club will be able to negotiate another supplier, who this time will contribute to the coffers!!
Or am I a dreamer???

Has anyone investigated the relationship between the tea bar people and Brian Lancaster?

I've asked the same question many times TJ - without answer. Does anyone know the name of the company?

I'd love to go and watch them this season, probably more than in the past ten seasons. We've got a forward looking manager who finds players without paying stupid amounts of money for them. Most of all the youth system is now producing local players. All in all there's probably not a better time to be a Worcester City supporter. Unfortunately I have this nagging feeling that it's all going to go to s*** due to the monkeys on the controls and I don't want to prolong it or be around to witness it. Tragic really
