At the match last night against St. Albans City there were only 3 turnstyles open. One for ticket holders, one for juniors and OAP's and one for the ground.
There was a queue outside the ground. Surely one of the gash directors standing inside the ground could have opened another turnstile!!!!

There were also no stewards taking money in the stand last night. Roughly 200 people sitting for free=£200 lost revenue

What a great way to prepare for the start of a brave new season. Get these old crocks out of here as soon as possible, and lets see a change of attitude off the pitch. On the pitch a perfect start Off the pitch, yet again, proof they don't give a damn about the club or the supporters.

Perhaps the Club has alienated anyone from volunteering to 'man' the turnstiles? I know of at least three people who used to do this job and are unlikely to do it again...
And doN't even start me on stewarding the stands ;-)

Having seen the "Spot the Belly" strand, it might not be a bad idea to open the main gate for some supporters.

Sorry......beg to differ there as I went in to both B and C stands before and during the first half and was challenged at neither.

It did prove a point, and also, AGAIN, showed that communication and consistency are key.
Half the supporters did not think they had to pay an extra quid, and the other half had been getting away with it so long they were offended when asked to do so !

RD has managed to get a great team together with all the problems off the pitch and lack of money. Maybe he should run the club, he has proved he can work miracles with the team.

We did wonder if she was doing the announcing topless, but we could only see her head.
Sadly we could not understand a word as the speaker on the shed has still not been fixed - third season now!

When announcing the substitutes Jane don't forget to mention the name of the player coming off. As sometimes one cannot see the numbers on players shirts, and the persons displaying the number cards do not rotate them so that they can be visible on all sides of the ground. Also, probably not your fault, the attendance figures were not announced.
Well done for your first effort.

We have fixed the speaker before, but people find it good fun to cut the cable, and think Jane is all talk with this topless thing, but we will wait and see when Rich takes over the running of the social club, and then see if she is good to her word with Wayne on hand with his camera.

Great music by the way Jane. It needed to be louder though Where's "Roger the Captain"?, couldn't help but notice his non appearance. Bliss !!!!! Now for some better tunes. Hmm, better tunes eh, my fowl friend. How about a "theme" each weekend. I'll start with: "Should I Stay or Should I Go?". Top Clash ditty. "Say Hello, Wave Goodbye". Soft Cell. Then it would finish with: The Chairmen of the Board "Give me just a little more time" folowed by The Smiths "How soon is now?". Any more pop pickers? ps Morrissey must be a secret City fan. Lyric from above classic cut: "There's a club, if you'd like to go You could meet somebody who really loves you So you go, and you stand on your own And you leave on your own And you go home And you cry And you want to die When you say it's gonna happen now, Well, when exactly do you mean? See I've already waited too long And all my hope is gone". Not this year it ain't! C'mon the City!!!
