There have been reports of rowdy celebrations in the streets of Ealing.

and there's been an application for planning permission for a tented village in his back garden for northern folk who can't get home after a midweeker!

"..reports of rowdy celebrations in the streets of Ealing." I don't go out!
I've always said I wanted what's best for the club. Is this? We could lose some more players now, so the rebuilding will have to be even more extensive.
But yes, on a personal level this is good news. (Am I the only supporter south of Oxford?) With my mum passing away at the start of this year I now only have the games at the Lane to tempt me back to God's City. With the demands of family life here taking up chunks of my weekends (Dad's taxi service etc) I was worried I wouldn't get to see many games this year.
So if this suits the club then yes - I'm happy. But is it official yet?

Yes it has been confirmed. Boston and Kings Lynn in the North and us and Redditch move South.
Geographically speaking this looks like the right call by the F.A Leagues Committee, albeit one that means we will lose some very good players like Clarke, Smith and Clegg.

"a tented village in his back garden" - in my garden! You could barely get a single tent in it! Anyway most of you are always welcome - just not the mug tree users. But leave leave your whippets and clogs at home.

From Non League Daily
(The future of Blue Square North club Boston United will be debated at a Football Conference meeting.
The Pilgrims are waiting to find out if they will be allowed to stay.
Boston are out of administration after reaching a deal with the Inland Revenue in April but they remain in breach of league regulations.
There is also the possibility of the club being moved to the Blue Square South as part of a regional restructure.
The Football Conference will be discussing the future of teams in the north and south as all four teams relegated from the Premier were from the north.
A decision is expected to be confirmed at their AGM on 7th June.
Boston were forced to drop two divisions following their relegation from the Football League at the end of the 2006/07 season.
They were refused entry to the Conference's top division because of financial problems. Should they be thrown out completely the Pilgrims would have to seek election to the UniBond or Southern League. Dated 14th May 2008)
There is still a chance we could stay north, its a small chance but im willing to keep hold of that chance until everything is confirmend by the club.

There won't be any further changes - we're moving south and can start planning accordingly.

While I'm not suggesting that what has been reported so far is not correct there has been no confirmation yet on the F.A.'s website nor has the club received any official confirmation.

Surely the chairmen of clubs likely to be moved are kept informed every step of the way?

Tim only moved back from the smoke to Worcester to see some football. Now we'll be down his ex-way every other week.

I bet 1000 Lancaster Dollars we go South If they're worth even less than Yankie Dollars then it's not worth the effort.

Good Point regarding Lancaster (Worthless) Dollars.
I realy want the club to make a statement ASAP regarding the league, least then RD can start planning the players he wants to sign.
And Clarke, Smudge and Cleggy can sort their futures out to.

South it is then!
But if speculation about Boston is correct, then Redditch would be the Club to go into the North and not the City.

Actually Tony it would be more likely that Vauxhall Motors would be reprieved from relegation than Redditch switched back across in the event that Boston are demoted again.
