was a really good game tonight, i thought northants had won it but thanks to kabi, ray price (legend) and bollinger (aussie aussie aussie oi oi oi, aussie oi, aussie oi, aussie aussie aussie, oi oi oi) and some good fielding we restricted them to singles, klusener played well had some good banter with usman afzaal who was fielding on the boundary, when hick hit like 3 sixes in a row he came and sat on the bench!! my mate even asked him if he had a bottle opener! hahahah i asked ray (legend) if he wanted a pint he said no, i want 2! i havent seen so many balls lost in one game ever, about 5 in the railway track and another 4 or 5 behind the pavilion, prefer a game like that because you can have all the banter with players because we were sat basically on the boundary rope, and all in one sentence ;D ;D ;D ;D

Edgebastard is copyrighted by me btw You owe me 3 pints in royalties God - I remember when we beat them up there a couple of years back - thanks to some cheating by our fielders (not declaring stepping over the boundary rope whilst touching the ball to field it back in). Great night that was

what a game after only making 143 i thought we had lost and would be out, but some good fielding and bowling restricted them mainly to singles (as we did against northants at kiddy). The bear scum were getting so excited that they were going to win after our batting performance as well ha ha and ha. Oh and joe pasquale ha ha.

I will never forget teh semi-final there or the floodlit in 2002. Bliss. Was that the semi that Glenn Turner & Imran Khan scored masses of runs in, and still it looked like W*rw*cksh*r* would win it, until Paul Pridgeon took a fantastic caught & bowled (Rohan Khani I think). My first trip to Edgbaston.
