Those who travelled all that way and left behind such a favourable impression are all top notch supporters. They deserve better.

Yes we were made very welcome by Barrow. I don't think they had seen such a mad bunch of fans (we were in fancy dress). It was nice at the end for our players to come over and give their match shirts to some of the fans, I know they really appreciated this gesture. So I would like to say thank you on behalf of our travelling fans to Barrow, I wish them luck in their adventures to climb the football ladder because what I experienced yesterday, they deserve it.

a superb day all round to be honest - hopefully a few more like those next season - regardless of results.
Big round of applause to the players who came up to us after the final whistle and thanked us for the support - and us thanking them for turning out for the club.
The players giving the shirts to us was another superb gesture

I would like to add that Dave Boddy and Myself were approached by the Safety Officer at Barrow who commended to us the exemplory behaviour of you the fans. We would like to add our thanks for representing the club in such a splendid way not only today but throughout the season, we have felt that your support for the team has been second to none and much appreciated by all, once again thanks to you all and long may it continue - Tony Partridge

Not a very high standard of dressing up was it. One superman, one naughty nurse and the rest looking like 15 year olds going to their high school prom. I suppose Crock could argue that he was a Shane McGowan lookalike and Tim Jauncey a gangster (or a member of Moonshake).

I went to villa a couple of years ago when the Sheffield United fans dressed up, there were two or three Scooby Doos, and even a tin of spam!! They got a bit bladdered and at half time there was a fight in the away end between the Tin of Spam and one of the Scooby Doos - frankly surreal!!! Out of interest , what are the 15 yr olds going to high school proms supposed to be dressed as? and is TJ dressed as Arthur Daley??
