We have two of the best right wing-backs in the league in Ryan Clarke and Graham Ward. Why then do we keep playing a poor/out of form centre half Peter Doran there?
The new keeper played a couple of games for Kettering at the start of the season and made plenty of howlers as well apparently before they sent him back to Peterboro.

One other question;why do we always play pure sh*te v the worst teams in the League, especially away from home?!

And why do we drop Nick Colley who has made a significant contribution to the last two results? (he may not be fuly match fit I suppose?). What seems common sense to everyone just doesnt seem to enter AP's head sometimes.

Absolute disgrace. Serious questions need to be asked about why we are getting such poor results against the poorer sides in this league. Motivation, tactics?

letting in too many goals and not scoring enough. The change of keeper sounds like it didnt help. That is a dreadful result

I nearly went tonight thank god I never, the Alfreton and Tamworth games were bad enough but by the sound of it this topped both of those.
Why are we so inconsistent?

5 nil against any team is bad but against a bottom half team really does sound the alarm bells.

I nearly went tonight thank god I never, the Alfreton and Tamworth games were bad enough but by the sound of it this topped both of those. Why are we so inconsistent? Maybe its because we can't pass the ball on the ground, can't keep the ball and hoof it aimlessly up front giving our forwards no chance of winning it, and Saturday just papered over the cracks, we were awful.

Shocking truly shocking.
Me and the Blonde left at 3 - 0 down....with little evidence to show that City would score.
To then read that the final result was 5 - 0..well...
I can't even begin to compare how poor City played (I can remember the Allner period and never ever thought that would be repeated)
Tonight was a performance bordering on negligence.

Just got back from Hucknall,it was a total disgrace, Doran as got to go for a start, and Andy Preece must be thinking if he as got a future at Worcester City, because when the directors came round to the travelling fans to thank them for coming, and apologizes for a very poor display on the pitch, which I for one appreciated on a cold night in Nottinghamshire.PS what do I know about predicting the score.

Oh how happy I am that I went all that way to see the most abject performance I have seen for a very long time. I thought Alfreton two years ago was bad but this was truly terrible. Everyone was terrible. As I was driving through Nottingham I tuned into BBC Nottingham to see if they were saying anything about the game. They were playing Delamitri, followed by an interview with front man Justin Curry and some embarrasing tracks off his new solo album. It was at this point I knew it was going to be a bad night. I should have turned round and gone home.

Everyone involved is embarrassed. Everyone who supported City there is embarrassed. Everyone hearing about it back home will be embarrassed.
A result like that is very unlike Worcester City Football Club.
Its taken me a quick look back through the records. We havent been beaten as badly in the league in 15 years (0-5 at Trowbridge). We havent suffered a worse defeat in the league in over 50 years (0-7 at Kettering in 1956).
Take it in. Work out what happened. Then its time to move on.

because when the directors came round to the travelling fans to thank them for coming, and apologizes for a very poor display on the pitch That just about summed it up. Last time it needed Boddy to speak out in the paper, now he's coming over and saying sorry to the fans. He shouldn't even have to be involved in on the pitch matters. Yes, we've had a couple of good performances lately, but it's time to be consistent not brilliant one week and completely abject the next. I can't see why Nic Colley is on the bench, why did we get rid of Tomo, why can't we defend set pieces and why can't they get their head around passing the ball on the floor for ninty minutes....... The extra week off did a fat load of good last weekend.

Grrrrr... it's v.late and I should be in the land of Nunnery Way and a 4th round tie.. Andy... it wasn't embarassing...it was a shameful game... 2 Season's ago when City won at Stalybridge I almost penned a letter to the Conference saying 'get this promoted as a marketable product' the game was superb. Needed TV coverage. Now? Alfreton....Hucknall...it's not worthy of Perdy on a Sunday morning

After a poor performance teams like to bounce back straight away, however without a game this weekend it should be interesting to see what the response will be at Vauxhall Motors. I guess seeing this result will put off a few more of the "floaters" from attending the next home game.

Shades of Hampton in the FA Cup 7 years ago? The response from the management will be interesting to say the least. How long is Danny out for?
On the plus side, I think JT's season has now come to an end in septic land, so hopefully he could be back at the club to add some steel and class. Doran can go back to Blessed Ethel, or whatever school of football he emanates from, and Clarke will be able to play where he plays best.
Mind you, if I was Preece on the back of a 5-0 stuffing against the bottom team, I'd be looking at the sword and wondering whether to fall on it or wield it against the team. Only 19 points off the leaders now though!

After the euphoria of saturday, back to reality with a bump.
I just feel sorry for those who wasted their time and money to watch that pathetic performance.
It is bad enough watching it at home without traveling for hours to watch it, and then standing there freezing your butt off.
I hope AP gave them all a rollicky, who is going to give him one? Especially after those comments in the paper.
Not impressed AP.

Only 19 points off the leaders now though! Preece has to be stronger with the players, as thay say actions speak louder than words. If players dont want to be at the club then axe them regardless of who they are. There are local players playing on perdi that could put in more consistant performances than our travellers.

The worst thing about the game was we could have lost by more, Hucknall had easy chances to score and smacked the bar and post as well.
I did feel sorry for Boddy and Co because that must have hurt to come to us and apologise.
The highlight of the night was the food, excellent (and hot) chilli burger.
The decision to drop Colley did seem strange but it was 9 out of the 11 that played Saturday so it was not as if we patched the team together.
