I am sure that I am not the only person who thinks that the Club has made a massive mistake in accepting Tom Harris's resignation as manager and appointing Deakin and Meakin-Richards as joint managers. Good news is that the latter has now resigned leaving only Deakin to resign. All they have done is to get rid of some decent players and replace them with Hednesford Town Cast offs that are, arguably, worse. The performances of the team have, become much worse, just look at the number of shots/chances per game, let alone goals. Deakin must go, and soon, or we will be facing almost certain relegation that will, almost certainly, ruin the club.
Please resign NOW.
I'm sure that Tim Harris would not have devastated the team to the extent that the two Muppets now in charge have done and that results would have gradually improved as the injured players returned. The board must act soon and, at reinstate Tim Harris as caretaker manager without delay. The
Surely Deakin cannot continue after tonight's drubbing by Droitwich Spa.

Credit to the city board for acting so decisively with the sacking last night.

Should of never been appointed in the first place. All it's caused is turmoil within the club.Board should stand up and be held responsible for it.

When the management duo were appointed, most of the fan posts on twitter were very positive. Majority thought it was a good appointment(s).
The board are getting flak over our current predicament, but I don't know why.
Let's not forget that without Steve and co, we may not even exist. They are doing everything they can to make the club a success.
Massive game on Saturday.

The Board are not to blame for the current situation (and let’s remind ourselves the Board are made up of people who represent the very best of this Club with the longest City pedigrees and that they saved the club from financial extinction). The fact is the management duo they appointed made a schoolboy error by not giving the existing squad (who served the club very well last season) any respect and brining in a host of outsiders, and apparently expected everyone to gel as a team and get results. Anyone with a basic idea of management would know you get the existing players fully on board, assess the strengths and weaknesses and then gradually try to bring in players to address any weaknesses. To allow players like Jonah, Chris Withington, Billy Shaw etc to walk away was unforgivable. Anyway the Board have acted decisively and done the right thing. There is no need for panic, we are not going to get promoted and it’s still early enough in the season to put together a decent team to avoid relegation. In my view the club should try to tempt Jonah back and appoint him and Stewart Watkins as first team coaches. Jonah is a winner and has massive experience of the non-league game, Stewart knows how the game should be played, is a great people person and motivator who would look to bring some of our excellent young players through, he has transformed the whole youth set up. And we do have an excellent reserve team with young lads knocking on the door of the first team (Tyrese Segree, Mati Klich, Ryan Glenister, Tom Mills etc). Could these lads do it in the first team? Well just look at how Cam Monteith and Josh Shuck have performed this season having come through the ranks. Sometimes the answer can be under your nose.

I hope all the turmoil can be undone. The club need to define who they are/what they are. Encourage the youngsters, if they are successful hopefully the team are succesful. If the player is good enough to progress to higher levels let them do so. It will encourage youngsters, it will show them there is a path. All they have to do is turn up and play well.
The last appointment definitely was not good as it seemed to undo all the good work that had been laid down in recent times, namely encouraging local, young players. They were perhaps too sure of themselves and thought their old mates who may have played at a higher level would just be able to walk in and do a job. Well Midland Premier League it may be but it's not walking football...
By acting decisively, removing the outsiders, who brought in outsiders, the bad feelings around the place should hopefully begin to ease. Supporters want to see their team do well, and so far they would have been disappointed especially as hopes had been raised last season. If the results do not go well as a supporter all I ask for is effort and the hint of promise and progress.
While I am at it, as well as a pathway for players why not coaches?
