A number of last seaon's players have yet to be signed for this season , Adam Harrison Defenders Sam Hall ,Fortune Maposa, Adam Whitehouse, Whitton and Jamie Smith , Midfield - Douglas ,Monteith, Hamil, George Baker forwards - Will Gibbons , Mati Klitch. Have some of these mentioned players been advised they have been released as it gives them a chance to sort a club out for the coming season. I have been impressed with the new signings so far by Tim Harris who is going to make a big push for promotion, has budget been increased ?.

Much as I would like to see all players nailed down with a contract a simple fact of life at our level is that it suits some to play on a non-contract basis. You can't stop players weighing their options at this time of year and I fully expect to see a few trialists having a run out in the friendlies. I will be very interested to see how Bailey gets on with his trial at Leamington in that respect. I truly wish him well. I think he is one of those extremely gifted players and it will be interesting to see how he goes against better defences.

It looks like the squad has been finalised and no places for Jake Whitehouse, Will Gibbons, Matthew Klitch and Sam Hall. I am really disappointed Sam Hall has missed out, a decent defensive defender who can play in the centre of the defence , he has been been consistent for around 4 years for City, I wish well on his next journey , hopefully he will prove Tim Harris wrong in letting him go.

Well a season that promised so much with a good pre season under the belt, with new signings to the squad with high hopes of a promotion push , so whats gone wrong ?. The early exit from the FA Cup at malvern Town was a blow to the club financially with five leagues gone we are rooted to the bottom of the table, with one point and scored only one goal and conceding nine . Last season we had a decent side with a good team spirit, all we needed was a goal scorer and some more experienced players, a entertaining side who never got turned over and scored plenty of goals. but just fell short. At the moment we are showing no sign of improvement . poor at back and not converting the chances created, was letting Sam Hall, Will Gibbons go make that much difference ? , also moving on Fortune Maposa a top player for us at the back last season, Ben Tilbury was victim of playing him as defender , when he is battling midfield player also shown the door. The big worry for me is the good work the Board and trust has done off the pitch is going to go to waste, if things on pitch do not improve with failing crowds . The Board need to monitor this situation as the current situation is unacceptable to the long suffering supporters who have been so loyal to the club home and away with around 600 at Malvern. I have my opinion on the manager and what is going on the pitch and areas where improvement is required , but i will keep my opinions to myself, Frank who comes from Walsall for every home games has told the players what he thought of them at Darlaston . Hopefully Tim Harris can turn things around and address issues on the pitch and move us up the table.

If things don't improve soon, how long has Tim Harris got before the board replace him? And how many supporters would still turn up week in week out to watch level 6 football?

Has Tim does the job for nothing ,can't see them replacing hin. All I would say is the players that are coming in don't seem any better than what we've lost.

Good points u21emonman - however just because a guy is a volunteer ie does the job for nothing, does not mean he can't be sacked/replaced by the board. as to the players he brought in, maybe they are better suited to playing at a lower level, ie level 6 maybe their standard? I guess only tell will tell on both points.

Anyone from the club , confirm if the following players have left the club Josh Webb, Morgan Owen , Romehi Seaton and Dylan Parker , they were all signed by the previous Management team . Injured players still out Darragh Bustin, Callum Debar, Josh Schuck James Douglas and Demetri Brown, things will improve on the pitch when we can get some these players back in. Bailey Fuller was on the bench on Saturday was he injured ?.

Would love to know the answers to the injuries etc as well. Bringing Bailey back, & then not playing him, is really strange. Must be a good reason!?! We don't seem to get many updates on players/injuries nowadays.
After last night's loss, we need a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.

So far this season City have used 46 players so not surprised that currently it's a bit of a mess. Of the forty six 7 are injured with long term problems but the damning statistic is 19 players have left the club for a variety of reasons

Hiya, Lee does include little squad updates in match previews before each game where we have some news - See recent match preview before Walsall Wood - www.worcestercityfc.org/news/back-to-league-action--walsall-wood-h-2739023.htmlEbutt left. Brown awaits scan which is this Sunday. Schuck scan today Debar ruled out for season (in the news piece) and requires surgery Baker - pulled up in Droitwich game late on, not sure where he is with regards to injury now. Bustin - I think it was announced his injury ruled him out for the season. He requires surgery which I believe he is awaiting dates for. James Douglas is missing for a few more games yet, still awaiting stiches to be removed and a check over before green light to return. On the newer players - Fry was on dual registration, with Bromsgrove in between managers they have called him back to be part of their squad. Morgan Owen was injured playing for Solihull so has missed last couple of weeks, Seraton or now known as Critchlow, may well be moved on. Webb and Parker both now gone, could not commit to training sessions / games due to jobs so have decided to move on.

So. We're still not winning, but there does seem to be an air of optimism?
Obviously there are a lot of fed up supporters. No one wants to be losing every week and scoring 7 goals in 15 games isn't exactly exciting football. But the fans are still turning up and I hope whoever the manager is, they don't do what the last lot did, because I feel with winter coming, it's going to take something special to keep the fans coming on wet and freezing days/nights at the Lane. Especially if we're proping up the table and out of the Cups.
