Wouldn’t this be a good time to revamp the Trust logo? It’s looking a bit tired and perhaps a new era needs a new design. What do others think?

Andy, I think its a brilliant idea, the last one has been around for 10+ years now, in need of a refresh. Its not as tired and dated as the club logo, which is in desperate need of a new identity!!! Only trouble is, can you think of anyone with the graphic skills and creative mindset who could put a few ideas together?

Perhaps the trust could get in touch with some school's (art dep't) to design a new logo as a project or competition?

If this sort of idea is ok then the club's logo could follow suit. Just changed to WCFC obviously. The flags top and bottom may be necessary to clarify club from trust.
Of course I would have liked to have added a few yellow stars in the blue circle. But...........

I've been told Arial font is not "hip", but Helvetica is, so: 5 & 6

What was the badge before that Julian? Have City ever had a badge which wasn't just the City of Worcester crest?

No, thats wrong, I'm looking at a programme from 1985 with the same badge on it

The Worcester City civic crest appeared on the programme cover in the 70s and 80s but it wasn't our club badge.
A badge appeared on the shirt in 88/89 season. The current design appeared in 91/2 or 92/3 - it's an adaptation of the civic crest.
We wore a shirt badge with the civic crest on in 75/6 season and also in the mid 50s, but that's all up to 88/89.
There has never been WCFC badge that doesn't look like the civic crest as far as I know.

So in essence..........The club NEEDS its own badge, and actually always had needed one!
This should be an engagement with local schools - design a badge!!

Ken, any possibility of a 'spread' in the WN?............ or is it likely to be too political for them to consider publishing?

Another great day leafleting with myself,Tom Swan,Simon Gregory,Dave Roberts & Nicky Salisbury as we have achieved full coverage of St Stephens Ward in 4 days plus we have encroached into Claines Ward by the length of the A449 Ombersley Rd/A38 Droitwich road, Other areas of the city will be leafleted by WCFC Supporters who on Saturday 20th April WCFC V Dunkirk will pick up supplies of leaflets to circulate in their individual localities across the city. Great effort by everyone today onward & upward. #comeonyoucityboysupthecity

I would see a Worcester City FC playing at a decent level in our city as a priority over `a paint job` of the old wreck of the moment !
