So Captain Marvel has gone to Stourbridge then. Looking a bit lacking in quality now!

At least it means Snapper can afford to bring Reyno back now though. Every cloud and all that...

Not surprised that Forsyth has gone. He's been our best player by a distance, and was the only player left, capable of playing 2 levels higher. He always tried his best for us, played with quality, and good luck to him.
As for bringing back Dave Reynolds - what's the point this season ? We're going nowhere, will finish mid table whichever players we play , so save Forsyth's wages to reduce this season's loss. No point whatsoever wasting any more money. We need to conserve what little money is left.
Besides which, how many more players do we want ? There's Lawrence, Harrison, Lemon, Evans to choose from up front - so why bother with Reynolds ? Lemon should have been starting for weeks - give the kid an extended run in the team.
We have to break even as soon as possible, and if it means playing " cheaper " players, then that's what we've got to do, whatever level we end up at. Haven't we all learnt from the past yet ?

Very sorry to see George go, as I thought he would see out the season, but almost inevitable. I already thought we would struggle to hang on to him at the end of the season. A class player who stood out from the rest. Makes the rest of the season look difficult.
However, there's an old saying "cometh the hour, cometh the man" so just who will that be?

Fantastic post and bloody spot on. Plus Reyno still carrying a knock on the ankle he sustained injury on early season with us

Malvern say Reyno is playing for them for the rest of the season, & agree why spend more money on players now, lets build the team for next year giving the lads we have a chance, Lemon needs to be given a chance not bring him on to try and rectify the crap position others have created. think we will be lucy to make the top five.

Spot on. I don't comment on players, I don't have the authority or knowledge to be able to, but now is surely the time to look to develop what the club already has in terms of players. City won't be promoted, and won't be relegated, so it's the perfect chance to both experiment, and also to take a punt on those players that the manager believes will be a part of next season. And all at no additional cost to the club. Who knows? Dave Reynolds could be a part of next seasons plans, and can get fit and sharp for the rest of this season..... with Malvern Town paying his wages! Save the money, and work with the resources at hand.

Would love to see Lawrence given a chance, he's so quick. Play him in a front 3 with Lemon or Evans and Balders if he's fit.
