Blimey, that was an eye opener.... Thanks for sharing this, I see your point. Let's hope the ST take control. With the breaking down of the NDU, the ST taking control is as far away from happening as it's ever been. The article doesn't highlight the problems that could happen to us, it just confirms the mess we are already in.

“The ex-Wimbledon and Bolton Wanderers striker will target the purchase of the 143,645 unallocated shares in City, a little under half of the current maximum of 300,000, plus more from existing shareholders subject to assurances over a stadium site and off-field structure.”
Hmmmm...

So, according to the Worcester News, although of course this is nothing more than heresay and conjecture, Dean Holdwsorth is planning to involve Middle Eastern and London based investors in purchasing 143,645 shares (at a cost of £143,645) in a business with a valuation of close to zero, with no assets, dwindling cash reserves and dwindling income streams, who play football at Step 9 , i.e. local regionalised part time football.
Yep, sounds like a really viable business proposition, it makes one wonder where all these investors have been in the last 30 years?

Sounds plausible to me. My company get emails from Middle Eastern investors all the time, putting in orders for 30 dust extraction filters (of no specified size) at a time and then pushing me for an invoice, so that they can send me a cheque which will bounce just after they have cancelled the order and asked for a refund. Of course I fall for it every time.

I note that Parsonage Way is relegated to two short sentences as a footnote to a no-news story. Maybe Andy Mitchell will be able to find out more and report any news after the monthly meeting. I get the impression things are progressing but more slowly than anticipated.

Presumably the 'takeover' is simply waiting for the life support to be switched off! Dodger.

Where do these "armchair warriors" get their ideas from? Some of it is, as you say, bizarre.
