Anyone thinking of going by train? Proper away day with some cracking pubs, quality people and maybe even some orange chips! Ten minute walk from station.

Never been there before but I see they won again last night and are now fourth in the league table, unbeaten after six matches, so we'll need to improve on the last couple of performances.

I understand that there is a micro brewery opposite the ground? I also see that Coventry Utd only made a home draw last night against Rocester (14th)

I also see that Coventry Utd only made a home draw last night against Rocester (14th) You've got the Windsor Castle near the ground - and the Sadlers Brewery Brewhouse right next to the rail station www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Sadler's+Brewhouse+%26+Bar/@52.459483,-2.114557,15z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0x7c0e018adb792e78?sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiltcbM4pDWAhWlHsAKHeUKDPoQ_BIIhQEwCg

This was an away game that I was hoping to do but, unfortunately,it clashes with a Sutton home fixture. Looks like Westfields in November instead when I will forgo the delights of Damson Park!Hope everyone has good day and a pint for me!!

I'll be trying out a new system for the match today. Rather than the usual Twitter and Facebook updates, we'll be using Goalshouter - it's a site designed specifically for giving updates and insight into football matches... hopefully it'll add to the match for those who cannot make games, or help out those at games when there's a "who scored" moment! You can view the goalshouter updates on their website, on the clubs social media, or on the goalshouter app for IOS/Andriod... it's free! You can follow today's game here: www.goalshouter.com/gamecast/mypkw222bAnd follow the team here: www.goalshouter.com/teams/80183/worcester-city-fcThere might be a few teething issues as I get to grips with the app... sorry if that's the case!

What do you think of it so far genghis? Lye a bit more competitive than some of the teams we've played, bit less time on the ball. Should be 1-1 though.

Good service. Nice to be able to hear what City are doing when they've disappeared off the BBC H&W radar it seems!
Even better when it ends in a win!

Unfortunately, I was unable to make today's game. A friend text me when Reynolds scored, but regrettably I have no insight on today's game.
I can only hope that today's score reflects an improvement in defence rather than poor finishing by Lye Town. Biggest problem with this league is that you have little, if any, insight into the opposition until you've seen them play. This wasn't a problem in the VN, you more or less knew what to expect. How many people here could name a Lye Town player before today? This puts City at a huge disadvantage. The other teams on the league are far more familiar with each other than City are.
Not saying it's an excuse for anything short of promotion, but still.

Sorry but I though this service added nothing at all to my match day experience. It's just one more app to download and get used to. I appreciate what you do on social media but tweeting worked fine as far as I could tell.

Superb win today.
Change of system following scouting mission in midweek.
Lads played well and used Lye's weaknesses to win the game.
Huge win and onto Tuesday night which will be another tough game

Certainly looked like we had a plan and stuck to it, wasn't pretty but did the job. First time I've ever been to Lye incidentally. It's like a non league ground that's stuck in a time warp. Not necessarily a bad thing I suppose, it has a sort charm.

Sorry but I though this service added nothing at all to my match day experience. It's just one more app to download and get used to. I appreciate what you do on social media but tweeting worked fine as far as I could tell. You could follow it all from the club Twitter! That's fine! Personally I found it easier to use at a ground with no press box/table for a laptop, but it was purely a case of trying to improve the content, rather than make it easier on myself. A few other teams use it, so thought to trial it for the one game and ask for feedback. General concensus is that the graphics/pictures it produces are good, but can be clustered and you don't get so much opinion as you normally would with me just saying what I see and think! I popped a poll on Twitter post-match to see what people thought of it, and if they'd prefer GoulShouter or Twitter. Opinion was quite heavily loaded towards Twitter so I'll be reverting to that from now on... though in hindsight a poll on Twitter asking "do you prefer Twitter or this other thing" might not be the most accurate way to collect info! Nothing wrong with trying something new!
