Advertising does not help to offset the cost of the programme. Any payment for adverts will be extra revenue. Profit/loss on the programme is determined by production costs versus income from sales. This season, as last, there is an additional cost if we are paying Terry Brumpton to be the editor. I don't know how much we pay, but I struggle to see how this can be justified at MFL level.

Quite a few of us on the bar side,so i think the attendance is about right. I have no doubt that there were quite a few there, as there was last season. However I looked at a few games from last season and in order for the attendance to be somewhere near that quoted, it would have had to be twice as populated as it was last season. I find it unlikely that all of a sudden that side doubles it's attendance even though the overall crowd size is reduced. Football fans are creatures of habit and tend to stand in the same place every game. Basically you haven't got a clue and you're trying to throw doubt on the attendance of a match you didn't attend |

Some of the announced attendances at The Lane baffled me and those around me, but 379 seemed right on Saturday. 200+ in the stands 150ish standing.

I note that the Worcester News opted to send Geoff Berkeley to the Worcester Warriors pre season game (against a college!) than have him report on Worcester City. And BBC H+W also barely gave City a mention, shows how little interest there is for the club at this level now. And of course, live updates at twitter.com/WorcesterCityFc |

I impressed my other half as I guessed the crowd as 375. Mind you she doesn't know much about footy. I took her to her first game at Gloucester last season, pointing at the dugouts she asked if they were the goals?! This got me into all sorts of trouble everyone including my girlfriend thinks you are me!! not a very common surname come say hello ill be behind the goal wearing a stupid shirt  |
