City have signed Worcester based Midfielder, Nathan Hayward.
The 25 year old began his career as a trainee at Birmingham City, he has gone onto play for Kidderminster Harriers, Redditch United, Stourbridge, Westfields, Stourport and most recently, Malvern Town.
Joint Managers, John Snape and Lee Hughes believe they have signed a player with "a good pedigree and a player who will give his all from the 1st until the last minute".
On signing for the club, Nathan says "I spoke to Snapper and Lee with in regards to joining my home town club and jumped at the opportunity when it was given to me"
Welcome to the club Nathan and good luck for the new season

As City have little choice other than sign on local lads, to be fair, they have signed on two of the better ones so far in Brad Birch and Nathan Hayward. Along with Chris Cornes and Jamie Insall they have been amongst the best of the local players. With Hayward coming from Malvern Town, I wouldn't be surprised to see Dave Reynolds and Lewis Platt follow him as well. With City now only being one step up from Malvern, the better players should be able to take the step up.

Talking of Chris Cornes and Jamie Insall.........rumours reach me that
Chris Cornes has been playing in the Worcester League on Sunday mornings whilst on weekend leave from jail, and that he is being released in July. I understand that he might be joining WCFC.
Jamie Insall has had his contract with Hibs terminated ( following his failed drugs test ), and that he is in talks with Salford.
Never believe rumours I always think. Rumour has it Anthony Hampson thinks moving offices 50 yards gives him the experience to develop a football stadium !

See i'd have been slightly more impressed if he'd moved the offices all the way to Bromyard Road, or even Timberdine Avenue. At least then he'd have had to have arranged the hire of a van!!
Blimey, Cornesy was the size of a small house when he was playing competitive footbal regularly, now he's older, and been out of the loop for a number of years, I mean , seriously?? I think its more likely that Chris Cornes is moving from Moor Street to Castle Street, and Anthony Hampson is signing on for WCFC!!
