I always feel at a loose end on Saturdays in the Summer. Summer Saturdays are just not the same.

Can't say I ever have felt at a loose end on a Saturday in the summer. Even in the days when I traveled to every game of every season ( Yes! I used to do the 5,000+ miles a season stuff too!) I had plenty to do on the Saturdays when there was no football. Car shows, horse shows, going racing, heading down to New Road, fixing the cars, and long weekends with the family mostly. I've never missed football when there's no football.
