I didn't believe it either. Surely the Chairman couldn't be that stupid.

I'm so sad, and angry, about yesterday that words have failed me for the past 24 hours. Not about the match, that was expected, but about the board killing my club. This isn't their club (only Colin Layland and Baz Pinches on the board are actually City supporters) it's mine and yours. And yes Hampson did say that and yes they can be that stupid.

As I was present in the room I confirmed everything above, as stated, Hampson is a 'Buffoon' of the first order and has led WCFC to destruction.

On the WCFC road to destruction, Mr Boddy was one hell of an act to follow, but I must say that Mr Hampson has continued the good work rather well.

Depressing anniversary time. 7 years ago today - we were "relegated" from the Blue Square South.
Thankfully salvation was at hand due to other clubs not being able to fulfil their commitments. Sadly I don't think we will have a lucky escape this time.

Hampson; Hallmark; Brown; Boddy; the shareholders who vote against change; etc, have always been the team/bunch/lodge members, who have driven this disaster together - and still are.

Back to the game on Saturday a close game by two sides quite evenly matched, the only difference was Salford took their chances when presented by poor defending by us. The game was typical of most home games this season, lacking quality to finish off chances and conceding goals late in games. Snapper has had to work with a depleted squad after the board put all players up for sale and never had a free hand like the previous manager who was allowed by the board to sign Connor Hughes, and we all know the financial implications it has cost the club. On you tube the Salford manager wasn't to pleased with Nathan Vaughan running 50 yards to pressure the referee to send off the Salford player. Our place in the league will be decided next Saturday, so lets hope we can get a positive result and results elsewhere go our way. So where does the club go from here, I for one do not agree with the chairman on taking a voluntary two leagues drop, if we are relegated we should drop down to the Evostik Northern/Southern Premier and I would except this. The move from Aggborough has been a poor one . the club losing more money than the previous year with a reduced playing budget and lower ground rental, the spectator experience I have not enjoyed in a ramshackle main stand and a sub standard playing surface. I would like to thank Snapper, Jacko and the players for their efforts for the club this season under difficult circumstances created by the boards decision to let key players to leave the club, without any communication with the supporters. Best of luck next Saturday.

Thanks old pal. I first posted it at the time the contracts were signed. Then I got a lot of criticism for being too critical and pessimistic! Time to resurrect it. I might also dig out some of the others I did. I presume the reaction won't be so hostile now.

Critical and pessimistic? Yep, join the club mate! It doesnt feel any better being right, but it was so obvious! Too many fans for too long were dazzled by the pin-stripes, or in our case, the blue blazers!

noboddy - I certainly didn't criticise, you were spot on.
You ought to dig out all your photomontages and forward them onto to the Coventry City Fans forum so they can see what awaits them in the near future.
