Did anyone else pick up on the fact that City's training begins this weekend @ Hartpury College. They specialise in Sports Courses amongst other things.

they have an Academy of Sport, which has links with Cheltenham Town FC, so I think City must just be using the facilities, which include:

Two football pitches (1 Floodlit)
Floodlit astroturf pitch
Indoor sports hall
Human performance laboratories
Resistance and free weights rooms
Performance analysis suite
Massage/rehabilitation room


Sounds like a good weekend to me; I was wondering if it was too late to book a place!

yea, intensive fitness training a key, wonder who funded it though?

Yes, that thought crossed my mind; I would imagine it wouldn't come cheap.

I'm surprised they didnt make use of the Worcester Sports Performance and Coaching Centre.

Perhaps it wasn't available; perhaps Hartpury was a better deal. Either way it's an excellent way to start. Will we get to see any pictures?
