Why would the WFA be more inclined to improve Claines Lane if there were two tenants?

In answer to your heading, it is possible, but I hope the WFA would have the sense to say no. The pitch wouldn't be able to cope for a start. In answer to your post, I think the writing is very firmly on the wall for football at Sixways.

I think you would need to ask Malvern Town FC that question.

The cup game at the start of the season was the first time I'd been there in years. It really is impressive. Do MTFC own their own ground? I have only been on there once many years ago. I did not think much of it then, just one old small stand, but the social club was nice. No, Malvern Hills District Council own the freehold. They granted the Football Club a 25 year lease in 2018.

My point was that young athletes can find other opportunities. I do sympathise with Warriors fans.

Why? There are other rugby clubs locally.

Sad to read about Alan Hadley. Top local player. I played football and cricket against him. Nice guy. www.worcestercityfc.org/news/alan-hadley-2674680.htmlLooking at this photo, in my very early days of watching the City, I think I can name 11 of the 12 ( which is remarkable as I can't remember what I did last week ! ), but there's one player I can't remember, can someone help ? Back Row L-R Bob Bache, Graham Langford, Bob Knight, Lionel Martin, Barry Kelcher, Peter Hensman, John Inglis Front Row L-R Neil Merrick, Graham Jones, Keith Allen, ??, Alan Hadley Doug Hurren.

Whittlesey Athletic were beaten 6-0 at home by Newport Pagnell Town in the FA Vase 3rd round yesterday. As much as I'd have liked to see us progress getting knocked out may prove to be a blessing in disguise for us.

There is already a walkway to the clubhouse and toilets. This is I believe restricted to players and officials only, but maybe that needs to be reviewed. That would solve the issue of access from the stands.

I would agree with you that covered standing accommodation is required but what would a second set of steps achieve? And as for putting portaloos next to the pitch - I don't think so.

Brad Birch, who joined Worcester Raiders at the start of August and was installed as their first team captain, has moved on again. He joined Tamworth at the end of last month and played in their recent F.A. Cup 4th qualifying round tie with Notts County.

I wouldn't say we were down to the bare bones, every player on the bench last Saturday has played for the first team this season and Withington has played at full-back previously. Without Jones, Birch and Westwood we were certainly missing three of our most experienced players. Whether they would have made a difference is debatable.

Luke English has joined Rugby Town in the United Counties League. He set up one of the goals with a trademark long throw in a 3-0 win over Potton United on Saturday.

We were outclassed from start to finish. Poor team selection, poor tactics. It was an accident waiting to happen. We know Coventry are a good step 5 side but they looked way better than us. The reason we improved in the second half was because Coventry took their foot off the gas at 4-0 up.
Tim Harris has a lot to think about on the basis of this result, both in terms of his team's performance and his own management.
None of the new players look like an improvement on what we had last season. Debar and Douglas were so poor they were withdrawn after 45 minutes and replaced by two better players.
Our first two league matches are at home. We need to get off to a strong start if we're to have any chance of winning the MFL. Anything less than 6 points would be unacceptable in my opinion.

Brad Birch has moved from Bromsgrove Sporting to Hednesford Town. He rejoined Sporting last December but due to the early termination of the season he didn't play a single game for them.
