Just thought you might like to see this from the AFC Wimbledon forum: “On This Day in 1966 Goals from Dave Peters and Eddie Reynolds saw the Dons beat a star studded Worcester City outfit and keep the pressure on leaders Weymouth at the top of the Southern League. The match day programme bemoaned the fact that some fans had been throwing stones from the open east terrace at the windows of nearby buildings causing damage and, it was stated that, "unless its stops the club will be impelled to take action against the culprits."

Brilliant opening line from worcesterfan2018, “1st things first I’m not going to start arguing with people on here”, followed by arguing with people on here.....😀
DTL returns?

Right then, FOR THE LAST TIME, ............
The appeal has been submitted. The appeal had to be submitted within 6 months of the rejection. A time frame cannot be put on it as the Planning Inspectorate have to consider many things.
I'm sure that you will be made aware of the outcome as soon as everyone else is....
Reminds me of a kid in the back of the car asking "are we nearly there yet.....?" every 5 minutes.

We all took a bucket.

Of course teams have to apply for promotion were they to finish second, if they seriously want it.....
If WCFC were to finish second and not apply for promotion, then what right have they to go up?
Mind you, the way the board understood the relegation issues last season, is it any wonder that this is a grey area for them.......
Certainly up until 2015, clubs at this level had until 30 November in the current season to apply for promotion come April/May next year.
Better hope the rules have changed, then.......

So now it moves on to the next stage- thinking that it is an achievement to both ask AND answer its own questions (with its own spin on it, naturally)
The removal of any doubt is complete........

I noticed that the attendance at the Parsonage Way meeting was 40,this I believe was the same as the trust meeting, so does that make it a level playing field? Apparently it was wrong of me to point out that people work, so obviously there were other reasons.......

Come on Fred, people knew the broad outline of the Perdiswell proposals- people know NOTHING about the "serious" proposals for PW. Yet it seems that 240 minutes is ample time to cover everything being put forward. Perhaps these ideas are just "chocolate teapot" We shall see.........

Have any of you lot ever wondered why this 'banter board' struggles to attract new users? Not sure that a "banter board" without opinions would work too well, to be honest..........

As long as the club's supporters are divided into factions we will never succeed. Please define "succeed" as you see it, Mr Munslow

Anyway, downthelane, are you ever going to answer any of the questions posed to you? Like, EVER?
Or should your opinions be totally ignored? Actually, are you allowed to have any opinions of your own?
Just wondering, like........

It really is not a "faction" situation. We simply have a Board who do not want to engage with the supporters at any level and a Trust who are doing their best to bridge that (ever widening) gap. The Trust have made mistakes, of that there is no dispute, whereas the Board have been suspiciously quiet. Of course there is no proof in front of us that a "fraud" or whatever has taken/is taking place, but with the total lack of anything constructive coming from the Board, then questions are bound to be asked- and these questions are not even laughed off as preposterous, giving people cause to think that they may carry some weight.
But it certainly seems that the Trust want a football club back in Worcester, whereas the Board cannot produce any documentation to show that they want the same.
What do supporters of WCFC or its future incarnation want?

There really is no answer to that.
It simply beggars belief.
I suppose Mr Munslow believes that Wimbledon supporters should have continued to go through the gate, even if it meant going up to a town in Buckinghamshire to watch a home game.

So, using the logic of Mr Munslow, if all those people at the ST meeting were not attending games, then they cannot be supporters of the club because they do not pay at the gate.
An absolutely ludicrous statement.

There can no longer be any reason to give the board (custodians) of WCFC any leeway. Many have seen it for years, some for less, and some are still in the "support the lads" camp. When will it dawn on people that it really does not matter about the result of the next couple of games...it is all about the future of football in Worcester. The Trust are looking at a ground that the board of WCFC do not want to play at. The board, however, have no viable alternative that they want to disclose (because they don't have one). "We're going to lose less money this season than last (as long as we do well in the League, in the FA Vase and people keep coming)". Well done.
People can and will make a difference. Saying that there probably is not the will is defeatist from the start. Creaner said at the ST meeting that a phoenix club should be the last resort.
It has reached that point now

Sorry to be pedantic, yet the last ST meeting was at the end of June, at which Dave Woods said that he would go back to the Board in the next four weeks, try to make them see the advantages of community ownership, and then we could reassess the next move. I may be incorrect, but it appears that nothing is happening in this regard, and we are six weeks further on.
As we all know (well, most of us), time is not a plentiful commodity.......

A phoenix club has to be the way forward now, perhaps even more so than before. The directors don't care about WCFC Ltd, so why should anyone else?
It is the right of the supporters to follow a Worcester football club in Worcester. If Perdiswell is the best option, then go with it. If people are sick and tired of being lied to by the current board, just pack up, walk away, and START AGAIN.
As was said by the supporters club chairman when Wimbledon reformed as AFC Wimbledon, "I'm fed up of fighting, I just want to watch some football".
Talking about how inactive/pathetic/(insert any word you like) the board are will not make the problem go away.
Rant over......
