Not sure if this has ever been discussed...
If/When we move and SGL is redeveloped into housing, I am assuming there will be at least one or two new roads. I think we should campaign to get these named after former City players.
Any thoughts?

I bet they will be named after councillors.

I bet they will be named after councillors. It is the developer who will make the recommendations for the road names. so they could be named after ex City players.

Just had a quick read of the planning statement. Application for 98 dwellings with 142 car parking spaces through a Tamworth-based developer - Belway.

Had it been a Nuneaton developer - would there have been any street lights?

That seems a hell of lot of development, I amazed they will fit it all on the site.

Had it been a Nuneaton developer - would there have been any street lights? Yes, but they'd only work for 80 mins at a time

Shouldn't that be Preece's Plaice- a new chippy on the site, I haven't heard of him getting a new job in football yet If they name one of the roads Nobby Clarke Way I'll eat my copy of "Roads and Traffic in Urban Areas". Thats quite a lot of houses stuffed on the site - should be a nice return for the club if it all gets approved.

What's wrong with Worcester City Avenue and Blue & White Road? It's the club that should be remembered not individual players.
