I admit i didn't know that Bill Cook was club historian. Is the Official History Book still available jupu? Is there anyone on the forum who could work on it to make it clearer and more visible? My IT skills are sadly lacking. Yes, via the club website: www.worcestercityfc.org/payments/official-history-of-worcester-city-47313.htmlAlternatively send me a personal message via this forum or contact me in Messenger. Thanks for your help and information, much appreciated.

Good Afternoon all.
This forum is moderated with a very light touch so this action is taken very reluctantly. You will notice that several previous posts have been deleted and some heavily edited.
As much as I welcome free speech I do not feel that this is the place for discussion about the origin of Covid-19. It is certainly not a place to discuss the background of forum members or others unless they have instigated it themselves.
This thread is kept open with the intention of continuing a discussion about what the Non League Football or even the football world in general will look like as we emerge out of 'lockdown'.
Please note that other posts may be deleted or edited and bans may follow if this reverts back to what was on this thread previously.

I accept and respect your decision, it was not my intention for things to go the way they did, but if im ridiculed, name called and accused unfairly i will defend myself, to which i believed i was doing. I apologies for any offense caused and keep to my word that if Admin felt the need to get involved, i would resign from the forum. The last thing i will say, is to wish that the return of the Club to the city of Worcester will bring success and good fortune to all those associated with the club in the future.

Blimey, imagine if all of us who have been ridiculed, name called, and accused unfairly over the years threw the towel in so easily? As Dr Chris Martenson said "if only that kindly bat hadn't decided to help his poorly pangolin friend!"

Shame, really. The most I’ve enjoyed a topic on here for quite some time.

Same - was a bit of fun wasn't it? A little bit of jocular name calling and ridicule. A bit like being at The Lane !! The closest we've all come to being in a football crowd for a long time!

I didn't think it was fun: personal mud-slinging of the sort that was being thrown around was quite nasty.

Well I did, a bit of boisterous debate, and not even in the same league as the mud slinging that's spouted out at football matches! No foul language, no questioning of anyone's parentage, no-one "going home in a Worcester ambulance" No one being accused of being a "f**k**g cheat" , no racism, no sexism. Nothing nasty at all.

I soon as I read the words "elites" I know this comes from an extreme left-winger, who usually have a distorted and deeply pessimistic view of the world. I'll read thro' it later, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. That was probably the nastiest comment made in the whole conversation. As an extreme left-winger myself, I could be very offended by a ridiculous comment that I have a distorted and deeply pessimistic view of the world.

It should be noted the many of the people who spent years attempting/saving our club are left, or extreme left, wing. While Tim just wanted to talk about and watch the football.

As soon as I read the word "elites" I know that the poster is convinced there is a conspiracy out there waiting to be discovered. A lot of left-wing stuff that's spouted is just wealth-envy.
Now I've strayed off subject! Damn.

You see, you're being very nasty again Tim. left-wing has nothing to do with wealth envy, and everything to do with a greater equality in wealth. Please stop this stupid nastiness, it's unnecessary.

I'm all in favour of greater equality of wealth, it's just how you achieve it that matters. I fail to see why, for instance, a train driver gets £40k while a nurse gets what? Half of that?
There's always been poor and rich: always will be I expect.
However, the benefits system, for example, was created as a safety net - not a lifestyle choice, and it hurts that some people think it IS a lifestyle choice. I have never envied anyone their wealth if they worked for it. I started with nowt, made what little wealth I possess by my own efforts, and am not ashamed of it. The kids who fool around at school, despise others who do work, but then want the same lifestyle, well they make me sick.
Inherited wealth - well, that's another matter: but if you create wealth and then the grim reaper beckons, if you have children who else would you leave it to?

Christ you don't half talk some bollocks! What has any of that to do with your stupid nasty comments? Why pit a train driver against a nurse? or a road sweeper? or a machine operator? Many of the kids that fooled around at school (like me) have got very good lifestyles thank you very much. As Niels said, many of the people who have worked their socks off to rescue this football club are left wingers, so just stop with the nastiness ok? It's strange how you see the word "elite" in such a negative connotation, when I see "elite" I think of superior, the best, the finest, its a positive word.

“ The kids who fool around at school, despise others who do work, but then want the same lifestyle, well they make me sick“
Wouldn’t that cover about 95% of professional footballers today?

I'm afraid to post on here now lest my comments offend: there is a whole phalanx of people in today's society just waiting to be offended.
I'll stick to posting on football, whenever that might re-appear.
