Perdiswell is no closer to being a reality than it was four years ago, in fact it is even less likely now. Sensible folk would realise the project is dead. RIP Perdiswell.

I'd say the opposite, but that's merely a matter of opinion based on facts, that we differ on, which is fine. I wish I could be given the facts surrounding Parsonage Way, so I can form an opinion on that plan, but sadly, there is no plan at the moment.

So - please let us know what there is that’s so good in the plans for Parsonage Way that would make us all have a Damascus Conversion and abandon Perdiswell right here and now? I hope it’s a 5,000 all seater stadium with a 5G pitch and shiny new video screens at each corner and individual at-seat consierge service for that 2nd beer of the game. |

Is it possible for a duck to be dead if it was never alive? Apparently so as twitchers have seen some at a place called Arsonage Way (what you didn't realise the Chairman has taken the P?) but alas they were scared off by a flight of pigs who were previously roosting at a nearby Nunnery so sadly there are no photographs available.

Oh and btw Jimbo I d join you at Pitchcroft and put my tenner in the bucket too. At least we could walk to the ground and have a couple of ales before the match without worrying about driving after. I reckon we d get more than 300 too. I don't think the time is right yet though. I think we need to wait for the Perdiswell planning application to be determined and if that is positive but there is no genuine positive action from the limited company that offers a realistic and viable plan to secure the future of City FC for future generations to enjoy then it would be the right time to start seriously planning for the formation of Worcester St George FC and prepare to slay a rather ineffectual and puny dragon. Not sure there is a need to form a new club from scratch. We already have Worcester Raiders playing in the City on a ground of their own. Why not just get behind them then if Perdiswell happens it becomes their home ground. |
