This isn't a criticism in any way, but why isn't the new pitch going to be 3G, but we are having a 3G pitch built as part of the development?
Will the council or will the football club own that 3G pitch? I suppose ultimately I'm wondering if the club could make money out of it by hiring it to Soccer Sixes etc, but I would have thought that we could have had a 3G pitch for the main pitch and just hired that out, much like Warriors or Tamworth do. Also reduces risk of postponed matches.

I am assuming it's no good putting comments on the planning website like "I support City and want to see this stadium built." Presumably any comments must be based on sound planning reasons.
Anyone got any suggestions what these might be?
I can think of (1) All other sites in the City have been investigated by a Working Party, including representatives from the City Council, and none has been found as suitable as this one, 2) With a leisure centre and swimming pool already on the site this is the perfect place to put a football stadium, (3) Perdiswell has a long history of football being played there, which this development continues and (4) when last I inspected this site it was disused and was a dog-walking site, as evidenced by the amount of dog excrement deposited.
Anyone got any more?

I emphasised the positives regarding sports facilities for the community - rather than a home for WCFC (important though that is).

It's also down to the fact that the Football League don't allow artificial turf fields. If Sutton were to get promoted from the Conference they'd have to rip up their 3G and go back to natural grass.

The football league regulations are of no relevance to City.

The football league regulations are of no relevance to City. I'm talking about if we ever managed to make it to Football League level you utter lunatic. I'm sure you'd be the first to rant about how much the Club wasted tearing up the 3G and how it shouldn't have been put in there in the first place.

A new set of pages will be going live when I've finished on them at www.wcfcsupporterstrust.com - these will be dedicated to Perdiswell, in the same way as the old wcfcatperdiswell site. This will give more details of how to register your support, the kind of comments that are specifically related to planning matters, together with plans, photographs, links to the planning portal etc.

When supporting the planning application, please avoid talking about City, football and how it;ll be good for the football club. This is a planning inquiry into the viability of a building on a piece of land. Decisions are made on planning grounds. would the building fit into the environment, how will it be of benefit to the people of Worcester, not football fans. How will it affect people in the area through its use. So when registering your support, think about the modest scale of the building, the integrated sports facilities for the benefit of the community of Worcester, the design itself, keeping noise pollution to a minimum, plenty of car parking. Also, think about the 3G pitches, a very important part of the development, replacing the existing 6 a side pitches with an improved area for community usage, for schools to use, for different sporting clubs and health clubs to use. Its all about sports and leisure facilities for the benefit of the people of Worcester.

Keeping my eye on the Planning Site every evening and the level of support has been fantastic, there has been way more support for this than objections....but...please still keep adding your comments, ask your family, friends and neighbours to add their views.....and do not forget to follow the advice from Jezza above !

Err - shouldn't there be the tower on the club badge (the left hand shield on the right hand side)?

Err - shouldn't there be the tower on the club badge (the left hand shield on the right hand side)? Perhaps the board had to sell it, to pay next months rent on Victoria Park Point three on the leaflet was very interesting, makes you think that they only way the club will want to stay at National League North level (thats if they finish out of the bottom 3) is if they have the cash to do so; if not then its down to the Evostik League (not sure if that will be north or south?)

Interesting to note that Hampson stated that we would not voluntarily go down !! I don't believe he's ever said that. He's confirmed that the Club hadn't applied for voluntary relegation but that doesn't mean they won't. He's also stated that the Club will do everything they can to stay up if they can. Again that doesn't rule out voluntary relegation. Happy to stand corrected if I've missed something.

I have been looking through the planning portal at the comments in support / objection, and I'm really quite surprised that a few so called "die hard" supporters, who spend plenty of time making comments on social media, and on here, have not registered a comment. Without Perdiswell there will be no Lads to cheer on, anywhere. So if you really care about this club, just do it! If you made a comment last time round YOU NEED TO DO IT AGAIN NOW! Here's the link, there is no excuse at all. planning.worcester.gov.uk/OcellaWeb/planningDetails?reference=P14M0176&from=planningSearchBelieve me, this matters so much more than selling a few programmes on a matchday, without Perdiswell , there will be no programmes to sell, no half time draw tickets to sell, no need for a coach to away games, because there won't be away games.

Dear Lord, you've done your bit. I'm not entirely sure that some people really give a damn, so long as there's a matchday! Well, there won't be!

I regularly browse the comments on the Council Planning page, 2 things of note 1. A large number of the objections that are hand written and appear to be by the same person. 2. I do not know names and addresses of any of the current Board and the Playing Staff and any other Support Staff but I have not noticed any of there names.
Should we not approach them and get them on board?
