I'm struggling to find the venue for tomorrow night anywhere? Thx Steve Hi steves, if you're a shareholder it will be on your invitation. By the sound of some of the comments on here, if you're known to oppose the board they might refuse entry....... I hope I'm wrong on this !!!!

Whilst obviously better than playing in exile until the club goes into liquidation, playing at Sixways would be an incredibly soul destroying experience. If you thought there was no atmosphere at Kiddy with 600 people in a 6,000 capacity (?) stadium, it would be like a morgue in a comparitively huge all seater stadium less than 10% full. The first proposals for Nunnery Way were for a 20,000 capacity ground. (I remember it being on the front page of the Evening News). Strange times, they were. There's an exclusive story about Sixways today. The content can be summed up in the title of the hyperlink. The only bit to add on is that the people at Sixways aren't really interested. www.worcesternews.co.uk/news/14603874. They obviously don't want Geoff reporting the facts! Keeping him out. Bad show Hampson

Judging by Geoff's comments, it would appear that Mr Hampson has his 'arrogance' hat on tonight.........or is it permanently on anyway?

Hamspons utter ignorance towards Rich, Rob and Julian when speaking was unreal. Puffing his cheeks, looking down at the table, simple rudeness.
A show of hands was asked for by Julian on who is willing to share that they are voting for the proposals - I only saw one person who didn't raise their hand. We want change, we want cbs, Hampson should see this!

From our colleague in the WN:
"I understand someone asked for me to be let into the meeting, but Anthony Hampson ignored it and carried on with the meeting."
Not good enough to be honest. Transparency? Not in Hampson's world...

Unfortunately this really doesn't surprise me. Hampson and his cronies were never in favour of this, All in for themselves! No care for our football club, as long they keep their own shares, nothing else matters to them! Well RIP WCFC, if the club survive more than 2 years I will be surprised.

Those who have voted against community ownership have just signed a DNR form.

I wonder how many dead shareholders they managed to "find" to vote in favour?

Maybe it's time to think about AFC Worcester City? With the board and City Council against us, seems like the only option? Maybe outside the City boundary, Powick, Claines, Broadheath?

Thats it. Not a penny more. I went passed Scunthorpe United earlier on my travels. Had a little smile to myself but that day seems a lifetime ago.

Maybe it's time to think about AFC Worcester City? I was asked by several people (including a couple of ex directors) what I thought the future was if the vote went against us tonight. I said some sort of Phoenix Club as there's enough drive & commitment within the trust to make it happen. I also said that there would be people like myself who 'stand on the sidelines' who would probably be willing to get more involved. So: is this the only real alternative for us ? I don't think the trust think it is as some of them said tonight that they'd work on their own from now on....... Something the board have been misguidedly doing for the last 5 years !! Without questioning the dedication, knowledge, contacts etc of the trust, I cannot understand why there was not a contingency plan in place to cover the vote tonight as in my experience the board have always had enough proxy votes to carry any motion they want. I also learnt tonight that our manager appears to be backing the board now rather than the trust...... Why ?? It was a disgrace to the board that only the chairman attended, surely anyone that was not overseas could have spared a couple of hours of their time, even if they had to leave early for an emergency !! I also found it unbelievable that AH would answer no questions after the voting results My final rant is: why did the guy that stood up asking for a vote of confidence in the chairman join in the chant 'resign' Weird.

I have already purchased a 10 game ticket for this season and I will use it regardless. However, I am seriously considering not going to cup matches (not that I expect there to be many of those) and I will not buy another ticket until things change.

What a complete disgrace. For that solicitor to try and distance himself from either side and state he was only there to ensure the meeting was run correctly and then turn around and declare the meeting closed, without even finishing their own f**king agenda, is unforgivable. Oh no wait, I guess "Next Steps" and "AOB" would have been pretty uncomfortable for the board. I call it a board, but they didn't seem to bother coming.

A valiant effort but looking at the result it wasn't even close. A show of hands and it would have been a different matter.
It's been said many times already but the countdown to extinction has begun. Actually I think that began in 2007 but it's really escalated now.
We will go down this season in front of crowds of 300. I can't see Heeley lasting the season, he will pack it in as the stress will consume him.
I feel sorry for those who have done their best and tried to help the club, you deserved better. We all did.

I started supporting City in 1976. Live 100 miles away from Worcester now, but still buy a season ticket - partly out of a sense of duty - despite not being able to get to many home matches.
For the first time in 40 years, I can honestly say this really doesn't feel like my club anymore.
