I see the Worcester News is running an article "10 things you need to know about Scunthorpe". They missed the most important - Scunthorpe United' s "football first". They were followed by in order:
Sheffield Wednesday
Dundee United
Manchester United
...and then many more!

Construction of cantilever stands? Ironically Scunthorpe left an old ground that had a cantilever stand to move to a newly-built ground that had none.
I know we're homeless, so beggars can't be choosers but if possible...no pillars at Perdiswell!!

Well done - spot on! I think the stand at the Old Show Ground was constructed by a local steel firm on good terms back in 1958 three years before Sheffield Wednesday's North Stand.

The 12th thing - City legend Paul Moss played for Scunthorpe before joining us in 1982.
