We lost a game. There's no such thing as a six pointer. We're 6 points off 15th place with teams just above us panicking a bit as well. As the great philosopher Sgt Jones reminded us "don't panic". We're in survival mode off the pitch and need to gain some perspective on what we need to achieve this season. If anyone can suggest who would take on such a task with minimal money and no prospect of investment (shares are still available) then fine. But reality is we have a good management team and potentially a good side. Do not write us off before Christmas for gods sake. 6 points off 15th place? we've only picked up 9 points in 15 games, at this rate it will be another 10 games before we pick up another 6 points. Then we will be even further from 15th place. We are easily the lowest goalscorers in the league with 12 in 15 games, with 4 of those coming in one game. You cant win without scoring goals and we desperately need to score goals. I bet if the management role was advertised there would be plenty of applicants. The reality is that we are bottom of the league with a management team who are struggling with a side that isn't good enough. Thats no surprise with no money and no ground and no way to raise money.

Having seen every home game this season we don't appear to look any better [with the exception of Altrincham in the second half] or any worse than the teams we've played. However we've now got typical relegation team's problems of failing to score when we're on top or have long periods of attack and leaking soft goals normally due to poor marking at the other end. This was predominantly true against Leamington when we could have been 2 up after 10 minutes and then we let them score 2 goals from unchallenged players.Once we get behind I can't where a goal's going to come from.A little while back we were scratching a few points with goalless draws but in the last 5 league games we shipped in 10 goals. On Tuesday I heard a lot of disgruntled comments about the management team but I would say the majority are still backing them. Lets not hit the panic button yet because with a bit of tweaking here and there we can turn things in our favour although it needs to be sooner rather than later.

And as for trying new players, if CH was playing the same 11 every week and being beaten, you'd be moaning then as well. No-one has yet answered the question of who this magical replacement manager will be. Gary Hackett at stourbridge

Hah, been suggested to him twice when been out on the lash.
Can't see him coming. A downwards move potentially.
