I last night read in various places that Tyler Weir will not be returning to Hereford United to the disappointment of some of their fans.
It seems from those who have spoken to him that he is to decide between us and Gloucester, think this is positive news for us !!

It looks like one of us is getting a very good player. Hopefully us, but I wish him all the luck in the world wherever he goes.
#ComebackTyler!

A pity if he chooses Gloucester as I rate him very highly. He looked a class above in most games.

As much as I want Tyler to sign for us, and told his mum and dad to MAKE him after the Workington game, I am a believer that all players should want to play for their local team. I would also like to see all teams having only players from the local area. So in my world it would be natural for him to want to play for his hometown club, and I, for one, wouldn't hold it against him.

Niels - Tyler is too good to play for his hometown Club, which would be Ledbury Town FC.
Ledbury is equidistant from Hereford, Worcester and Gloucester.
I read somewhere recently that he is under contract to Hereford until 30th June. Most of the quotes coming from the Gloucester side about preferences seem to be a regurgitation from when his loan period from Hereford to Gloucester was up for renewal. At which stage, he moved to Worcester.

Constraint of trade and all that - also how do you define an area?

And supporting your own town or City, that would be lovely.
Then we wouldn't see all these shithouses from Gloucester supporting the scum at Wembley. I'd have them all deported. (no smiley)
As for Tyler, as crazy as it may sound, I heard that he found it easier to get to training and matches when he was here. What ever way, not that Hereford have been relegated I think they're fools to let him go.
And when he signed on loan for Worcester, I think we couldn't have him back without buying him out of his contract due to loan rules or something like that.

Looks like Gloucester fans have launched a concerted twitter charm offensive on Tyler in a bid to persuade him to sign for them!

This vid tells you all you need to know: Well he was hardly going to slate the place stood in front of your own camera was he? .He said pretty much the same thing at our end of season bash, that he enjoyed so much. Best club he had ever played for, great team spirit , the usual stuff. It will come down to pound notes, then his travelling, then who has the best chance of getting promoted.

Depends which end of the table he wants to be fighting for

Whoever he chooses is going to get a very good player. I desperately hope he comes back to us, but wish him well whatever he decides. If we don't get him, it certainly won't be for the want of trying. I've never Tweeted to much!

I will leave this to player and manager - the whole idea of fans tweeting to get a player signed is just wrong. Why put so much unfair pressure like that on a young mans shoulders? Let him and the management make the decision.
