Segregation will be interesting! A-C-B-D? or D-B-C-A? and which turnstiles will be used?

Jeremy, after we have taken advice from the responsible agencies I will decide what we are doing and the website will know asp. That is of course if both the important teams win.

That is of course if both the important teams win. Yeah, us & Lewes. ;D Though I doubt it. If it has to be them, so be it.

Worcester or Carshalton v. Kidderminster or Lewes. After Wednesday of this week there may not be a Lewes side to compete against Kidder. As there is a winding up order against them and they have to find several hundred thousand to pay of the Tax people. If they don't meet the deadline then capput.

I live near Lewes and the word on the street is that theyve sent off the payment to clear the HMRC debt. As far as I know, nothing has officially been announced, but the news on here sounds optimistic: therooks.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=lewesfc&action=display&thread=4779

what a draw if we get through! i believe we can get 3000 for this game, It would be nice to think so, but in reality, no chance. Not unless we win any preceding home games very handsomely. And there's a general thaw.... With the massive rider, we both get through.Still prefer Lewes fluke a win there, as we'd stand a better chance v. them.

On reflection, it would make more sense to re-schedule the Newport game for the 30/1 on the basis we both get KO from the Trophy?

yeah maybe not 3 thousand lol but i believe if both teams get through and if its handled in the right away and maybe give local schools tickets that will get them in half price, i hardly see kids go anyway so they wouldn lose out on money, and if its advertised in the paper right like headline, COME DOWN ST GEORGES LANE AND SEE US ENTERTAIN RIVALS KIDDERMINSTER IN THE FA TROPHY, and maybe on the game, on the turnstile you can buy a raffle ticket for a pound and the winner gets a free shirt or somthing from the club or go to a free away game, its common sense to be honest, a lot of money could be made, IF BOTH TEAMS WIN

Except this is WCFC, who aren't exactly known for marketing anything! Just 'depending on results', FFS!

I'm not sure you can give away tickets at reduced costs for Cup games, unless both teams agree to it, although I suppose if you gave away youe "half" of the gate receipts that would be ok. But why bother? If we can't bring in 2,000 at full price to a Trophy match against Kiddy, both us and Kiddy have problems! This isn't a giveaway game, we should maximise this one - put the admission up to £15 (true supporters surely wouldnt object to paying a bit more for a big game, particularly with the club not getting any revenue in so far this year!!) and no concessions!! I might be mistaken, but you can buy raffle tickets just inside the turnstiles every home game?

folks
we really shouldn't be getting ahead of ourselves, the draw is exciting yes, but that does not mean Carshalton are going to come to the lane and rollover, they will be thinking the same thing, Conference side at home (they need that as badly as we do)
The Ryman league does not mean rubbish league and there is every chance we will be playing in the midlands version of it next season. One game at a time and all that please. For once this season lets all get down to the lane (whenever it is on) and make a difference by gettting behind the team right from the off, rather than shuffling around getting people to sign petitions, moaning and transmitting our lack of self belief to the team (how many of us could say we are were good enough to play at this level (probably none). 500 people can make a difference, so lets do it

The petition was trying to get rid of the last one of that troupe so that we would stop being a laughing stock and so there could be some trust in the honest direction the new board are taking the club.

Ah yes but we aren't players, we can dream of Wembley and it won't affect our performance and I've already sorted out my parking and accomodation for the final! (Ibis hotel just off Wembley Way, very close to Careys HO) I am also worried that my 30 years of self-belief has not really had any impact on the team, which is disappointing! Perhaps Richard Dryden could help a bit by not shuffling around getting people to write appeals for red cards, moaning about offside goals which don't exist, and transmitting his lack of self-belief to the team. He makes more of a difference than 500 of us, and so he should!

I should have added shuffling around getting signatures (even if the situation demands it) don't worry I signed it. I apologise for any mis understanding and I fully support the effort it took. as for others please don't miss use the term shuffler in any underhand way. As for Dryden we will be there after he has gone and we were all there before he came. So of course he has more influence on the team but does it mean he wants it more than us, no he doesn't. Sometimes people just turn up to moan rather than support and that niggles a bit.

I would sincerely hope that a manager of a football club wants his team to win far more than supporters. If City lose too much, he gets sacked, but all that happens in my household is that the cat gets it!! Sorry but I get hacked off by these continual calls for supporters to "get behind the lads" when most of the people saying that do nothing other than go down to SGL, and consider themselves to be true and loyal supporters of the club. Those who stand there singing "We love you City, we do" yet wouldnt be seen dead in a high-viz vest stewarding the Xmas funrun, or helping the club promote any events such as the Kick Out Racism mornings, or even manning the turnstiles when there's a big crowd. Just how many true and loyal supporters have seen all these cancelled games, and decided to give what would have been their gate money to the club so the players can be paid? Or are they really only true and loyal supporters when they're being served up an afternoon of entertainment? To me, the true and loyal supporters are people like Mr Shuffler Niels, who deserves a visit to Wembley, and if we do go all the way - and what harm is there in dreaming? - then I will personally drive him there AND allow him to choose the music for the whoel journey, there and back!!
